New outlook on life....

    Since leaving the org. My view of life has changed significantly in many ways, as I'm sure is true for many of you.

    I think differently about my future, fellow humans, friends, family, past time activites etc. including music and lyrics. It's funny how now I'll hear a song { doesn't necessarly have to be a newly released song} but I seem to change the initial meaning to fit my life. For example, on a road trip this past weekend, my husband and I we're sick of listening to the radio so decided to put in an old mixed CD of mine. The first song was "Survivor" by Destinys Child. I'm not too fond of that group, or that song, but for some reason listened to it ..... it's crazy how with such a life altering experience, you view so many things in life much differently than you did in the past... So what sorts of things in life do you look at differently now? Do you have any exjw "motivational songs" ?

    Congratulations on moving on, I can relate to what you're feeling. It keeps getting better, too!

    Heres one I listen to a lot when I'm mad at 'em b/c my brother is still in...reminds me how they do it, they take away your ability to make your own decisions, and create "evil" in your mind.
