Talesin,
I'm thinking of Carol, Joyzabel, Mav, and the many others in Fla while watching Katrina's aftermath on the news ... how are you all doing?
Joyzabel has been flipping to the weather station all day but denies she is concerned. It's not going to get close to us in Panama City Beach but I hate to think the Pensacola Fl area and all the communities east of it are going to get hit again. They got the worst of Ivan last year, then Dennis this year and cannot endure another.
The pics below are of our house after Opal in 95.

Wow, Steve, you were wiped out! uggh, that must have been a horrible time (and if I recall from reading stuff, that wasn't all the tragedy you have had to deal with). I was thinking that you were Mr. J, but I get screen names mixed up so often ... I'm glad you are both okay, thanks for checking in.
Anyone else?

Steve... wow, sorry to see that!
They say we are in the cycle for the next 15 years!
Maybe we should move to Canada.... aye.

Have You Seen My Mother
Hope everyone is well.

Bryan,,, yes, we would love to have you! But if you come to the East Coast ... ermm, well, we have hurricanes, too, and sometimes in the winter (2003 Hurricane Juan level 2, winds to 160 mph ,,, 2004 White Juan 37" of snow in less than 24 hours,, yikes!)
But still, the hurricanes are not as bad as your region. Oh, and Florida has such spectacular lightning. I just love the chain lightning, it is awesome! We get it here as well, especially in the mountains.
Steve, Panama City Beach, is that on the east coast, then?
Hey, Shera. :D
