I've never read the Daniel prophecy book from the WTS...but while at a JW relative's house, I had a chance to glance through one.
One chapter was talking about the seven years of insanity of Nebuchadnezzar and the book mentioned lycanthropy and the origin of the word and the meaning. It stopped short of saying that Nebuchadnezzar had this particular disorder but in true WTS fashion insinuated it. Why would it even need to try to pinpoint the type of insanity or sickness he had? Isn't the fact that he was nuts enough to eat grass enough?
Since most of my knowledge of lycanthropy comes from werewolf movies, I couldn't help but laugh as I pictured Nebuchadnezzar running around turning into a werewolf on the full moon and howling at the moon. Makes for a great Bible bedtime story, huh?
