I mean, we live hundreds of miles north. But we have room for a couple people here. Is there a website or email address that one can make the offer of free lodging until these people can get back on thier feet.

As far as that goes, is there anyone on this board that could use that kind of help?

    I'm with you, Jeff.

I'm over in San Antonio, TX - and don't have much - but am willing to put someone up for a while - if needed.

PM me if you 'landed' in San Antonio, TX - and are not sure where to go... I'm local - and can help.

    Regards,

    Jim TX

Jeff, there's also a New Orleans link.

http://www.nola.com Go to the right side of the page where it says "How we can help each other" and click on "Homes Available"

Here's the Dallas/Ft. Worth area info, in case anyone is in the vicinity:

You can also go to www.volunteernorthtexas.org and fill out a volunteer application, then call 214-826-2727 and they will hook you up with other volunteer opportunities.
