    Hello folks,

I don't know if anyone has had this idea, but since annual meeting in Watchtower is their greatest event, after memorial, Isn't this a interesting moment for a major ""APOSTATE" act"?

To be honest with you I don't believe that the traditional banners and shout iniciatives, with picketing style would be enough, maybe it would be a time for a more CREATIVE act, perhaps we can have p eople with (1) painted faces in a indian warrior way, or even (2) dressed in black as in mourning, or perhaps (3) dressed as a sad lamb or maybe a (4) with Governing Body or (5) their old WT death presidents masks (like those that people use in globalization protests) things artistically curious that can call attention of the press and that could be a nightmare for some old boys in Broklyn AND at the same time, with a subtle eyes opener for the new GB members...

What is yours personal ideas about this?

    Best regards,

    Pele

    This post prompted an idea:

Since traditional protests, IMO, are largely ineffective and only serve to increase the JWs paranoia and persecution complex, why not do the complete opposite?

Set up a table with donuts and a pot of coffee, and banners that read "We Love You" (i.e. you the individuals, NOT your the Society) or "We Miss You" or "We're Worried about You" or some other nice, non-offensive, confusing message.

If you can get people to stop and have a free coffee, strike up a conversation (shouldn't be too hard, they be wondering who the heck you are and why you are there) and tell them matter of factly that you're a happy former member who wants your (brother/sister/father/mother/children) to speak to you and stop shunning you, or whatever.

This would totally demolish the "apostate stereotype" that only serves to insulate them.

Edit to add: we could call the idea "Coffee Table"

    LMAO at willyloman! ;)

That shouldn't be to hard to manage: leave a trail of donuts leading off away from the "Coffee Table". Each donut with a little sign reading "For Attendants Only".

Also, perhaps a sign which says "Free Coffee and Donuts". I think "Free Donuts" beats "Keep Moving"... but "Royal Flush" beats everything!

    Hey Quote,

I loved your idea, it would be a very creative way to call their attention. I believe it is time to change the "apostate steriotype" you said (in JW head).

Of coure it does not included a well humored performance with GB members masks (dressed as clowns) in the other side of street

    Best regards,

    Pele

    Carla,

Not only bigwigs, people in a support role from Watchtower will be there, but specially people in leadership positions.

They will need to know this and probably that will be a great initial message for the new Governing Body members.

    Best regards,

    Anderson
