The following is the first 15 questions that I handed over to the elder that was over at my house on the 24th of August.I will post part B as soon as I can.Feel free to comment on any question.
Where does the bible make such statements:
1.That God has an "organization" on earth and uses a governing body to direct it?
2.That the "faithful and discreet slave"is a "class" composed of only certain christians and that it operates through a governing body?
3.That the "144000" in Revelation must be taken as a literal number?
4.That the last days began in 1914?
5.That the calendar year of 1914 was when Christ was first officially enthroned as King toward all the earth and that that calendar date marks the start of his "parousia" or presence?
6.That the gathering of the "anointed" or 144000 ceased in 1935?
7.That Christ's words in connection with the emblematic bread & wine "Do this in remembrance of me" do not apply to all persons putting faith in his ransom sacrifice?
8.When the bible at Heb. 11:16 says that men such as Abraham,Isaac and Jacob were "reaching out for a better place,that is,one belonging to heaven...",this could not possibly mean that they had a heavenly hope?
9.That Christ is mediator only for the anointed?
10.That Jerusalem was destroyed in 607 BCE?
11.That christian men cannot grow clean,trimmed beards?
12.That christians must fill out a service report on a monthly basis? did Jesus do this? did his apostles do this? Paul?
13.That people who do not fill out a service report will die at Armaggeddon?
14.That a christian must reach and maintain a certain amount of hours of field service in order to be considered an "exemplary" christian?
15.That we must attend 5 meetings every week or die at Armaggeddon?
