Joelbear is posting in a way that worries me. He seems to have desperately low self-esteem, and not to care about living.
I can't do anything except implore him to find help, and assure him that I care as much as is possible.
I am seriously worried.

Please pick up the phone and call the Help Line. You need to talk to someone about these throughts now, and that is why the people at Help Line volunteer, to be there for YOU.

Many of us have felt suicidal after leaving the dubs. It is natural. They have set us up to fail by their faulty teachings. However, the choice is ours if we want to believe they have power over us anymore. I chose to reclaim my power and my sense of self. If I can do it, you can do it. I couldn't do it by myself, though. I called for -- and received help. There is help available, even if you just phoned your family doctor and let him know how you are feeling. He will get you the right help. Or walk into a hospital emergency room and ask for help. The options are many. The important thing is to reach out for help.

I think, from years of experience, that Joel will be okay. He just expresses his fears and moods, and good for him.

Joelbear has struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts for a long while now. He has his ups and downs. We all do I think. What bothers me about Joel though is the extremes...just a few weeks ago, he was being silly and funny and loving. Today it's dark and depressing.
(((((Joel)))))) I don't know what triggered this dark period hon, but we are here for you. There are hundreds of us here that want to help however we can. Don't do anything tragic...we'd miss you terribly!

PS: Marla (Bubbamar) and her girlfriend Dee just moved to Atlanta this weekend. Isn't that where you are? Perhaps you guys can connect somehow and have coffee? They need a little showing around town. Being a tour guide can sometimes give you a new perspective on life around you.
