    I wonder if the Watchtower is in this list?

    If not, it should be. Any comments? Should the F.B.I. be notified?

    I did a search on charity-related scams today. The FTC advises filing a complaint with them or with your local attorney general. I don't know how likely they would be to find the WTS fradulent.

    I wish I had saved the JW web site requesting for relief money.

    Gerard, I'm sure that was not an official WTS website but rather some brothers (and/or sisters) who were getting ahead of the WTS, were rank and file JWs ripping off other JWs. or were non-JWs posing as JWs to rip off JWs.

    The WTS has told the rank and file that they are donating for the brothers/sisters in this disaster but that it should be labeled for the Worldwide Work so that the WTS can and will use the money as they see fit not just for the Katrina disaster.

    The WTS does misrepresent many things but I don't think this one is from the official WT organization.

    Not that I would put anything past them at this point but I think blondie is right they are a bit more sneaky than that .
