  After a very long wait I was able to cash in on a gift certificate a couple of weeks ago and just recieved my books.

  The four presidents of the Watch Tower Society by E. C. Gruss

  Jehovah's Witnesses: Their claims, doctrinal changes and prophetic speculations. What does the record show? by E.C. Gruss

  and

  The sign of the last days: When by Carl Olof Jonsson and Wolfgang Herbst

  I feel like a kid in the candy store and want to read them all at once. But in light of some of the topics here about the WT leaders I have started with 4 presidents.

  Have you read them? How did you like them?

  I think I am one of the few people that would give 5 stars to 30 years. I think it was my training in group dynamics that increased my interest in this history

  Now you mention it, I seem to recall you mentioning 30 years a couple of months ago. I agree that book adds a whole new dimension to the history of the movement, which I have not read anywhere else.

  Even the books I have marked with fewer stars, I will read more than once. Each book includes important pieces of the jigsaw that help me build up the full picture. Please don't forget to let me know what you think of your new books. Is there anything else you recommend?

  Many recovery from abuse books deal with the same issues of control and betrayal of trust. It might be helpful for people to read some of the books that deal with these issues.

  Hi Lady Lee! Read them all. Good reading, especially since we were in the WT. Society at one time . They all compliment each other adding to information we did not have before when we were inside the WT. Society.
