Yes, an age of miracles and wonders now begins!
Popular Science reports scientists are working on the first
artificial lung.
People magazine (Aug. 6, 2001) pg.80 "Medical Miracles"
-- a little girl is dying of a horrible skin disease - they
replace huge areas of her skin with artificial skin grown
in a laboratory - she's healthy and happy now
-- a woman's life is saved by the first working artificial liver
--- a completely self-contained artificial heart is now a reality
--- a dying man gets a second chance with an intestine transplant
--- a woman dying from lupus is saved by stem cells.
Read the October issue of "My Generation" magazine! Its cover
highlights the article "Get Ready To Live to 120 - It'll Happen
Sooner Than You Think" - new synthetic antioxidants are being
developed that could add another 20 years of healthy life --
or maybe create an indefinite lifespan. The article warns that
this is happening faster than most people think - a drug could
be approved by 2006.
AND the article also warns:
"an extremely long-or indefinite life span could crumble
the Judeo-Christian religions." (pg18)
Whether thru lawsuit or otherwise,
in ten years the Watchtower will be relegated to
the scrap heap of history, along with buggy whips,
slide rules, and cars with tail fins. Obsolete,
out-moded, and irrelevant!
Too bad for the Borg! If they concentrated on being a real
loving brotherhood, they might endure and have a place in the
future - instead of ending up as a obscure footnote in 20th
century history.
Such is justice
