"same old, same old" is my guess i.e. minimal nett increase that'll be 'overlooked' in the shadow of all those new ones being baptised.

They will boast that they have done a billion plus hours preaching the "good news of the Watchtower" but only increase by about 2% worldwide.

Probably be the usual increase in the third world countries

Zero or negative growth in some of the major western countries. Going by what I've heard how the local congregation round here have been doing. I know the two I was associated with have had 6 from one and 5 from another leave. My old congregation this year has had no one baptised this year.

But we can only wait and see. But you can be sure whatever the figures will be the WT will play up the fact they had an increase. But not say how many have left.

There are more disfellowshippings than baptisms.

If there is any growth it will occur in third world nations and/or non-english speaking congregations in the u.s.

They are pushing the learn a foreign language and change congregations thing really really hard.

The field service discussion scale will start getting applied:

0% - 1% - "The end must be so close now!"

    2% - 3% - "People are still coming in!"

4% - 5% - "What a blessing Jehovah is pouring out on his people!"

6+% - "These numbers must be off...."

With the requisite making up of why the growth is so high/low in obscure countries that no one's even heard of. "Well, those folks are mainly farmers, and you know how much farmers love the earth. The truth of a paradise earth rings with them!"
