The umpires beat the Yankees, over the years they have always given the Yanks the short end of the stick. Also this team played with band aids all year long. Not bad for a team that has had injuries to thier top players all year. Anyway it would of been dull if The Yanks were not in it at all.
26 CHAMPION SEASONS, no one will ever top that. The Yanks can be proud, no reason to hang thier heads.

Finally, no teams from America's eastern time zone will be in the World Series! The balance of power is shifting west. It's about time that we saw some team other than the Red Sox and Yankees advance every single year.
When the Angels of Anaheim get their "rally monkey" going, they are hard to beat. That damn monkey won them the World Series in 2002. (The Twins and the Giants found you can't beat that monkey!) I say those Angels will be hard to beat.
