She was an eccentric "allergic to lifer"...was a Gilead graduate and missionary in Guatemala and finally ended up the guinea pig for a bro. "doctor" (quack) in SoCal...
She idolized a "Dr." Springer...the SoCal Dub "faith healer"...

In SoCal...somewhere near Temecula...there was this "doctor" that ALL the Dubs went to...Dr.Springer was his name ( an "annointed" brother no less).
Jeannie Cole was one of his biggest fans and staunchest sales persons. He was just under JC himself...
He could use his hands and wave them around feeling your "energy"...then a poke here and a poke there and you were all better. I went with some friends to see him once (out of morbid curiosity). He seemed harmless enough...
He wouldn't charge the poor or pioneers...
He wasn't a real doctor...but the Dubs would run to him in heartbeat for any and all maladies.
He also advocated some wierd theories that ALL spices (onions, garlic, chili's etc) were the cause of most health problems.
I'm sure he's dead now...but he was IT back in the 80's in SoCal.
