My question is why are they still celebrating the Memorial to begin with? Jesus said "do this until I return"
If Christ came back "invisibly" in 1914 then theirs no need to continue "doing this"
a jw believes that consuming blood is the worst thing they could do against their god and they are willing to die before they'd eat take blood.
during jesus' last meal with his followers he gives them wine to drink and tells them that it represents his blood.
knowing this, they drink it.

my therapist and i talked about the bible, specifically, adam and eve and their sinning by eating from the forbidden fruit.
he says it is really a great lesson on consequences of your actions.
i agreed and we talked at some length about it, but one thing i decided, god was not fair.
the beginning of loopy headedness
LOL, Im trying to remember if Ive been accused of that.

Six,
I appreciate your response, However, being raised as a dub, is what drove me to want answers.
We do know how to teach people to sort the evidence for their beliefs. Unfortunately, we still don't really prioritize teaching that, as religions would not likely exist anymore, and we can't have that, now can we?I disagree, there are many personal testimonies which are, at least in my case inexplicable. And religion has nothing to do with my faith.
here's good bedtime story for the little ones!.
remember jeptha and his beautiful daughter that was his only child?.
just to set the theme: the ammonites took over israels land while they were in bondage in egypt.
Boy DD,
You'd better give up and join the ranks of the " its better to hate the OT. WT God" that way he'll go away.
Kinda of like the "no-Homers club"

I don't know. The STORY seems to indicate that they did not catch him by surprise because he already had a contingency plan ready to go. Which tree? The tree of knowledge or the tree of life?
The tree of "good and evil" ....So, you'll agree that they, A&E were predisposed to sin. Further, why would God allow satan to foil a chioce given to man, and God already knowing the outcome?
Maybe both the tree of knowledge was the test, if they passed after a certain number of years, they got to eat from the tree of life ..........
Would passing this test turn God into a spectator?

Gen 2:17 God says that if they eat from the tree of knowledge, "...you will positively die." Satan said in Gen 2:4, promised them that "...you positively will not die." Death here was the issue. So, when they disobeyed, God put them OUT of the Garden of Eden because he did not want them to eat from a stupid tree of life Gen 3:22, "that he may not put his hand out and actually take fruit also from the tree of life and eat and live to tiem indefinite"
Little Toe welcome back, didnt we spend a couple of months on this very subject?
Jez, Did Adam and Eve catch God by suprise with their decision. And why was the tree there to begin with?
