regarding Jacksons testimony.
by umbertoecho inhas anyone here re-watched that last day?
the part where justice mcclellan is asking mr jackson if he feels that this royal commission is a sincere effort to make some good changes in policy...?.
and does mr jackson feel it would be worth it to put a collective effort, along with other organizations to compensate or find means of redress, for the victims of child sexual abuse?.

Angus OWNED jackson in that moment and I believe he did it for us. Jackson must've felt like he just got ate by a wolf and sh*t over a cliff! We owe him one!!
True so true Dumplin. I just couldn't see it on that actual day. I was too invested in seeing the" Mouth" roasted over a pit (very bad attitude) I forgot the subtlety of Angus Stewart........

"yes yes continue"... still looking down and fumbling with some papers.
Wasn't that a delicious moment Dumplin !!
I had been too emotional to appreciate it at the time. It was only after I was phoned by one of the team and set into calmness, that I was able to put some rationality back. I had missed so much in that first wonderful platform that was the Mouth of GB Jackson.

I am wondering if Angus' turning his back was deliberate. I think it was. It was a tactic to let Jackson know he's nothing special to the RC and to see if it flustered him. It told the RC plenty.
I was so beautifully done that i had to watch it all over again....just waiting for that moment and the 34.39 minute section. Angus was on to him in a huge way, he was so wonderfully dismissive as he consulted his assistant and leafed through documents, as though nothing of great significance coming out of the Mouth GB Jackson, was too difficult to put into a back ground noise...........as he searched for more interesting info.......
OutLaw, As usual your irreverence is totally awesome. I love your visuals.....really do. I think it was one of your earliest posts that had me laughing so much........I joined up

tried this when I once got a broken arm, and it healed up almost immediately.
Oh Splash, thanks for that. I'm going to do that straight away and melt those extra kilos away as I gasp the mantra............".I'm an integrity keeper", I'm gonna do that as I run along on my old old second hand stair master....

Sydney Morning Herald Headline about Compensation for Victims May Cause JW Organization to Gasp
by steve2 ingeoffrey jackson's unfailingly diplomatic responses during friday's royal commission hearings have undoubtedly limited damage to the reputation of the jw organization - but i could never again imagine the watchtower and awake!
magazines criticizing other religions over their responses to child sexual abuse within their parishes.
too close for comfort.

It doesn't matter if it's not in print. It's on the internet and can't be avoided. People are curious about this GB man and what he had to say. I think he sort of , kind of, may be'd the possibility of joining in with other organizations in redress.....He shouldn't be too hard pressed to get out of that jamb, using the "stay away from the world" scriptures.
What he won't be able to undo is that fact that in principle he had to admit there was a problem and that redress should be considered. Neither can they shred the documents now held by the RC showing such awful figures and lack of action. Neither can they say something to the contrary when re telling their version of events. It's recorded and for that I am eternally grateful to RC and those who saved the videos. I feel better about this when I think upon it.
The RC were polite to him, so that cans the wicked world of cruel unscrupulous people into the bin too. What is so perfect about all of this, is the calm and diligent manner in which the RC treated everyone. Now, I defy all witnesses to find fault with that.....

Watch Tower religion was banned here in Australia in the forties. They were not considered to be a genuine sort of religion but rather a sect.
Australia will do what it wants if there is no redress. They are not afraid of such moves. WT may let the witnesses flounder due to the smallish numbers of active witnesses. The society has a tax exempt status that they fear losing. The commission was an "under oath" hearing that is there to access in the future....There will be claims and the knowledge gained from these hearings will support those claims. I will watch with great interest from now on.... Especially as WTBTS had called for all funds to be marked as donations and sent to Headquarters in America. How suspicious is that!!

Do you have any recording devices? Question at JW Judicial Committee. Can we use this weapon against them?
by Brokeback Watchtower inwhat labels the watchtower judicial system as a completely kangaroo court is the secrecy in which they take place.
i was asked this question by 5 elders who sat as judges over me over the charges get this "speaking against the organization" this was truly the most kangarooie of the kangaroo courts ever.
when they first invited me to this meeting by 2 elder at my place of work i asked them what the charges were and was told speaking against the organization to which i said right the charges down on a piece of paper and sign it to which they refused.

What about the "being allowed to confront your accuser" They seem to really like that one when dealing with children of abuse.
