A couple have just been sent straight back to Australia from the place where they were sent to do missionary work. I'm sorry I can't remember the country right now. But. The thing is. They had missed communication between Bethel Australia and America. This caused the couple to lose their place of residence and other costs. They were not told that there was no missionary work "approved" by Head quarters in Sydney via Bethel,America. They got to where the need was greater. And got sent home again. Things are very confused here from what I can glean.

For clarification. My sister and her family were moved from their kingdom hall of over thirty years of attendance. They were given some offhand reason about boundaries. This was an unusual move as they had contributed so much money and time to this hall. When they were moved, they were surprised.......shocked even.
Then the royal commission started. This meant a lot to those who had insight into my complaints. Records follow a congregant from one place to another. This was the case with my sister and her family. The more distance they could put between me and those who had done wrong............the better.
Therefore, it was a shock for her and her family to be told that the "new place of worship" was likely to go back to the old place of worship; namely........straight back to the KH that they had just left. Question marks were happening every few moments ( in her and their minds)
Why were they moved in the first place? Why are they being told to amalgamate in the next instance? What in the hell is going on?!Essentially. Money is the issue. For real estate is a viable redeemable option here in Australia. Property prices are very healthy and the RC will take intelligent note of this, due to many who have made them aware of how things work here.
There is a consolidation of assets going on. It is in order to minimise the "profits" of WTBTS here in Australia. This may mean cramping four different congregations into one usual meeting place. It seems clear to me from listening and more importantly....observing, the reactions of those who I do know. There is something going on that I sense is not to the "joy" of those long time followers of this religion. There is a resigned look in the faces of those who I have known, where once there was an arrogant look of triumph. But this is my sense. It may not be the same as others who read this forum. What I do know is this. That, there is a feeling of ....what....? Not feeling as perfect, strong, convinced..........of their place in this system of things; as once emanated from these people before. Perhaps there is a feeling of confusion as they "hope" that their God is still defending them. Not the same as being convinced. Yes!! That's it. The conviction has gone.

Smiddy. The local kingdom hall that she attends with her family and they are (the elders) have had to consider this "move" for it comes from Sydney and therefore.............America. Australia is small fry compared to some parts of the world. Australian "Bethel" is expendable. I have never had such an insight into into the actual fears of her religion as I had seen that day. She is a good barometer for the "ailments" that are besieging the society. -

rip van winkle..........She is terrified of the ARC. It is still going on here. The money is being drained out of Australia incase the RC causes legislation to " take" what is not offered freely, by the religious culprits; Money first !!!! :Honesty last. -

Without prompting she said to me. " The society is starting to cut back here in Australia as there is not enough money"
Me: "Isn't that the logical thing to do when there is a deficit?"
She: " There is talk of our kingdom halls being sold off and four meetings being held in halls where there were two"
Me: " Are you afraid of being sent back to your old building?"
She, looking upset. So uncertain for the first time I have ever known her to be..." "No, not really, it's just that there is not enough money to cover costs"
Me: " But I do believe you believe men are the cause of this and not God?".
She avoided that one but I could see she was disturbed for the first time ever.
She is so upset and confused. The arrogant wind is not blowing her sails. She is wondering without being aware of her own doubt.

by Tornintwo ina couple of middle aged jw sisters dropped round unannounced the other day, they were only being kind i suppose, after some awkward silences i voiced a couple of my issues with the religion, (the safe ones), sort of an explanation as to why i'm no longer attending, namely: everyone else will die, lack of support for young ones, mistreatment/judgementalism by prominent ones who get away with it because 'they're imperfect and we have to wait on jehovah' etc.
well, after sympathizing and telling me horror stories about awful elders and their own kids' issues in the past (how some left the truth, had bitter divorces from fellow witnesses etc) they then begged me to 'come back to jehovah', 'he misses me' apparently.
finally, the more pushy one summed it up with 'you're thinking too much, it's not good for you', 'some issues you just have to put in a drawer and forget about....'.. hmm nice reasoning sisters, theocratic school training at its finest!

Recent announcement on literature placements

they said to only leave literature if the householder engages you in conversation.
it used to be that they would try to get any literature into every hand of every person.

Therefore all a witness has to do in order to notch up more "time", is to go home put on a good DVD. Log onto the JW site and keep hitting replay, over and over again...... (muted of course). Or just read a good book and keep doing the replay ......... -

he asked, in genesis, when cain killed abel, and god, as punishment cursed him and drove him from the land, making him a restless wanderer, why did cain say to god that the punishment was too hard; that anyone who found him would kill him?

I thought the same thing too. I have always asked the study conductors why; in Genesis there appears to be two distinct "creations". The first lot where it's about "making man in our image, man and women he made them..............Then we move on to another description about Adam and Eve who are in Eden.
No witness is prepared to accept that if the bible is inspired by God, then it's quite possible that there are two separate creations. I have asked why god would bother repeating himself on this topic..............I have never thought Adam and Eve were the first and now I begin to wonder about the entire book

Simon. This is your forum. You started it I don't doubt you have helped many.
Eight hours of testimony is exhausting. I was told to make no contact with any legal entity. I had to register, make it completely absolutely, concrete. No one could deny the facts and in this way those who would deny would have to be incredibly inventive to twist one thing I ever said.
That included court records, hospital records, even school records. I was warned to go nowhere until I had completed a strong and evidence-based complaint. There is one more ugly session that will gut me. I will do it. I was asked not to contact or allow anyone to make an approach to me. No matter what professional credentials they claimed to have.
I am strongly urged to take legal action. Very strongly. By the RC. These people walk me out of the door and my face is so numb I can hardly see the road. I have lost everyone in my family. The RC are wise in saying "Don't do a thing until this is registered officially". I take that advice for they are employed and trained to give such advice.
But all that I am going through, must be a figment of my "unbalanced" imagination. That must be the reason I say.........Caution, be cautious...in case another woman or man is tortured by some greedy and illegitimate legal entity.
However. I must be wrong. For you say so, by challenging one who has never told anything but the actual facts. They don't suit you do they? I am now "unbalanced" and "need help". This is quite true. But it is not because I lack memory, recall, erudition born of decades of self-defense of me, my children and now.............my nephew. Yes. You must be quite accurate and denounce me. This was a good move. You win your hollow victory, Simon. Bask in it... enjoy.....
For obviously I did not notice you standing in that room with me. You are the one who covers my head as I walk into that building. You are the one who is recording every sick experience. And you must be the one who stands there and says Don't follow the advice you are given. For the RC have it all wrong.
