  just got back from "imitate jehovah" ca and noticed that the theme was never really used at all.

  all the talks were about family, preaching and getting along with others in the hall.

  they didn't once go over an account of how jehovah acted in the past and how we should imitate that action.

  is it really a bond theme ?

  i'm not sure , no mention of the film title , no nod to bond at all .

  vent: Got into it this morning with my wife agian. younger son wants to go to a B-day, i said he could...she turned cult.

  Romans chapter 14 clearly states one can celebrate birthdays if one wants.

  Romans 14 is contradictory. One part says not to judge, but another says not to stumble others. So those who are easily stumbled should not be judgemental, but on the other hand we should not stumble them. Wait... whaaaatttt????

  How to survive an assembly

  hey i was just wondering if you guys had any ideas on how to keep my brain occupied while i'm at an assembly tommorow.

  maybe besides tallying the number of times they say jehovah and jesus or counting how many people are wearing red.

  i want to keep myself from going insane or having some kind of panic attack lol.

  When I was fading, I was fortunate to be able to get a room at the hotel where our convention was held. I pretended that I had duties & stayed upstairs for extended periods, only returning to the convention hall towards the end of the programme ;)

  i've decided to change my username because i'm not the same person i was when i first joined this site.

  back then, a part of me still believed, and i thought that if my doubts were wrong and the religion actually turns out to be true and i posted negative stuff here... hey, i was only just kidding!!!.
