Elder harassed my mom and asked for donation
by kaik inmy mom had surgery last month and she developed complication and had to be on antibiotics to treat infection.
so, she is recovering slowly, but things was tough on her and she was not attending kh or went to assembly two weeks ago.
nonetheless, elder showed up at her place and instead providing her with comfort he started to harass her that her faith is weak, she does not put trust in jah, etc.

Seems like donations have dried up, thus the harassment for funds. I take it as a good sign that people ARE waking up & not donating, hence the KH is in need of money. Conclusion: God is not blessing their work... if he really was then they wouldn't be begging for money! -

Dont Give Them More Power Than They Deserve
by Tech49 ina new montra that was recently adopted by the wife and i is this:.
dont give them more power than they deserve.. here's why i say that, and i point this to those of you still in the congregation, still trying to decide what you want to do.. recently, our family had a little family reunion gathering of sorts, and we were in the company of some extended family that were either df or da, to varying degrees.
we made it very clear, to any and all in attendance, that we wanted to be respectful and kind, despite any previous perceptions about our "status".... and that our feelings on a lot of things had "softened", and "changed" over the last 2 years.. i am being purposefully slightly vague, but i think you get the point.

Blondie's Comments You Will Not Hear at the 11-22-2015 WT Study (God Loves us?)
by blondie inblondies highlights from the 11-22-2015 wt study (september 15, 2015) (jehovah love us).

Paragraph 2 of the study:
2 To some, though, God’s love for people is a foreign concept. To them, God is to be feared and obeyed. Or perhaps because of certain entrenched erroneous teachings, they feel that God is unloving, even unlovable. On the other hand, there are those who believe that God’s love is unconditional and that he loves them regardless of what they do or fail to do.
Questions: The WT itself teaches that God is to be feared & obeyed, so does that mean they are saying that they themselves are wrong? What if the entrenched & erroneous teachings come from the Bible itself or from the WT? If God's love is unconditional & he loves people regardless of what they do or fail to do, then why should we be JW's in the first place??? If God loves us regardless of what we fail to do, then why are JW's made to feel guilty & that they would be destroyed at Armageddon if they miss meetings, field service, family worship, personal study, & prayer? -

Ex-Jehovah's Witness elder jailed for sex assaults on schoolgirl
by LevelThePlayingField inthis is becoming more common.
this is from the last part of the article: .
"this was about sexual gratification and you are a hypocrite because you became an elder and you investigated a sexual matter even with this in your sexual background.".

Child abuse was one of the the "inconvenient truths" which led me to wake up. Another fact which I had an issue with was that I, a kind & helpful brother in good standing & reaching out, could not make it to be appointed as an elder, BUT scumbags like these could be appointed??? It's as good as saying that I'm worse than a pedophile! Goodbye WT... you had me, you pulled me down instead of raising me up, you pissed me off, & now you've lost me. For good -

November 22 Study Article: God is a hypocrite & is NOT impartial!
by Divergent inanother vomit-inducing study article.
would just like to highlight a few paragraphs from it (blondie would probably do a more in-depth analysis as usual):.
9 first of all, jehovah reveals the truth about himself.

More bullshit found in paragraph 8:
JEHOVAH LOVINGLY TEACHES US THE TRUTH
8 Fathers love their children and want to protect them from being misled or deceived. Many parents, however, are unable to offer their children proper guidance because they themselves have rejected the standards found in God’s Word. The result is often confusion and
frustration. (Prov. 14:12) Jehovah, on the other hand, is “the God of truth.” (Ps. 31:5) He loves his children and delights in letting his light of truth shine forth to guide them in every aspect of their life, particularly in matters of worship. (Read Psalm 43:3.)
Questions: Would the God of truth be associated with an organization of untruth? If God's spirit of truth is directing this organization, how do you justify the organization promoting untruth on countless occasions? (The "imperfect men" excuse DOES NOT apply here as all decisions are made prayerfully & carried out under "God's direction." Neither does the "new light" excuse apply due to gross misapplication of scripture & for the obvious reason that God's perfect holy spirit does not flip-flop or get things wrong!) Has not the organization been unable to offer us proper guidance because they themselves have rejected / misapplied the standards found in God’s Word, causing confusion and frustration? -

Living with Islam - in the small Australian city of Bendigo
by fulltimestudent inthe wife of my friend (the one i call gayxjw) had ancestors from there.. back in the 19th century a lot of people came from all over the world to look for gold.

Errr... Amen? =P
Anyway, I was more fixated with the "Jehovah protects & safeguards us but yet does not do so" part. That would be the more obvious part that would get people thinking. I wonder what the brothers & sisters in Malawi & or those in other countries which are undergoing or who have experienced tribulation are thinking. It's like a slap in the face to them!
