knock knock
by Sabin inif jw`s come knocking at your door, do you open it & engage in conversation, tell them to sod off, or just not answer the door?.
my husband`s has asked me not to answer the door to them if he isn't here?
he hate`s the fact that they make a point of calling when they know he will be at work.

You Are Unsuitable!

13:48.. understanding the lesson of this illustration helps us to avoid being overly distraught or disappointed if a bible student or one of our children does not make the truth his own.

This is the full text of the scripture:
47 “Again the Kingdom of the heavens is like a dragnet let down into the sea and gathering fish of every kind. 48 When it was full, they hauled it up onto the beach, and sitting down, they collected the fine ones into containers, but the unsuitable they threw away
Just wondering... has it ever crossed anyone's minds that the suitable are likened to dead fish??? Hey, I'll rather be an live unsuitable sea creature being thrown back into the sea rather than a dead fish that would be prepared for someone's meal!!!

Today's text -
Sunday, January 24
They collected the fine ones into containers, but the unsuitable they threw away.—Matt. 13:48.
Understanding the lesson of this illustration helps us to avoid being overly distraught or disappointed if a Bible student or one of our children does not make the truth his own. This may happen despite all our best efforts. Agreeing to have a Bible study or being raised around the truth does not automatically mean that a person will develop a strong personal relationship with Jehovah. Those unwilling to submit to Jehovah’s rulership will eventually be separated from God’s people. Does this mean that those who have left the truth will never be allowed to return to the congregation? Or if someone fails to dedicate his life to Jehovah, will he be forever classified as someone “unsuitable”? No. There is still a window of opportunity for such ones before the outbreak of the great tribulation. It is as if Jehovah calls out to them: “Return to me, and I will return to you.”
So I am labelled "unsuitable" based on my refusal to follow a cult based on illogical man-made rules? A cult which has misinterpreted the Bible, made countless false prophesies, and protects pedophiles? I'm totally fine with that! I'm PROUD to be unsuitable and to all of you reading this, I hope you are too!

Based on my observations, those who are rich & loaded or who rank highly & have connections in JW land would usually be on top of the pecking order. And in African / Asian / South American countries, you would be at the top if you are a Westerner. Too bad if it happens to be the reverse scenario - a poor immigrant family in a Western congregation!
JW's claim to be impartial, but those in their congregations are ultimately viewed & judged based on their status, wealth, nationality, and skin color. Sad but true!

by Truthexplorer inas a pre-awakened ms, i heard of 2 stories that i found very shocking at the time.
