  Thread Post View Is Stuck At 10 & Can't Be Changed!

  i browse this site on mobile and noticed that the thread post view is now stuck at 10. previously, i could set it at 20 and it stays that way, but now if i set it at 20, it goes back to 10 again the moment i click on another topic.

  i hope that you can look into this as it is extremely irritating for me to keep having to change it.

  i want to view as many posts as possible in one page!

  This is sick. How many lousy marriages have resulted from this rubbish. Mismatches of every type occur--people getting stuck marrying people they are not even attracted to because that's all that's available.

  EXACTLY! There is such a great lack of choice that so many are totally unable to find suitable marriage mates, especially sisters. And once you are married, you are STUCK with the person FOREVER, however incompatible they may be. No wonder so many are suffering from depression!

  Jehovah God Is Not Real

  there are many of us on this site that do not believe that jehovah truly exists.. i think this is a great and wonderful thing to be celebrated!

  i'd like people to list the reasons why they do not believe that jehovah exists.

  this is open to all, not just atheists or agnostics, but anyone that believes that the god as put forward by jw.org does not and can not be real.. i'll start: .

  If children give a balding man a bit of cheek, they get torn apart by bears acting under gods orders.

  The LOL part is that all this is coming from a god who is supposed to be LOVING, MERCIFUL, COMPASSIONATE, & SLOW TO ANGER! (Exodus 34:6) Contrary to the qualities mentioned above, the god of the OT is the most hateful hot-headed irrational asshole I have ever come across!

  In the OT, children who reviled their parents were to be stoned to death.

  Just let that sink in: children who rowed with their parents and went OTT were killed in an extremely gruesome and inhumane way, on the word of the JewGod.

  Children, particularly teenagers, row with their parents and may say things they later regret. No sane, loving parent would want their child to die because of that.

  On that same note, Jokehova praises himself as a LOVING FATHER who CARES for his children, YET this same father is responsible for KILLING millions of his own children! What kind of sick father kills his own children? ? ? Totally disgusting! ! !

  41:13.. jehovah purposed that his people proclaim the good news on an unprecedented scale in our day, and nothing can prevent him from accomplishing that purpose.

  just as he delivered the ancient nation of israel from babylon, jehovah has rescued his present-day servants from “babylon the great,” the world empire of false religion.

  That's why I say the governing body is NOT imitating Jesus who took the lead in preaching. They should be at the forefront of the preaching work instead of observing silently behind the scenes. They should be preaching in the hostile counties which I mentioned earlier - the more opposition they face, the MORE intense their efforts should be! If Jehovah is really with them, what do they have to be afraid of???

  despite my often smart-ass exterior, i really don't have any desire to see the r&f dubs suffering.

  i really do worry about the mental and emotional turmoil that they will experience, if and when the wtbts is truly exposed as a scam.

  i know it seems unlikely to happen, but you never know..... anyway, the wt for the week was cringe-worthy to say the least.

  Is the writing staff so ate up with cognitive dissonance that they must justify their delusions, or are they just plain stupid?

  Both, I would say. The org is full of people writing about things which they are NOT qualified to write about (eg. unmarried or childless individuals writing about family life and raising up children, individuals who haven't read any proper scientific books writing about science, individuals not well-versed in language doing bible translation work, and the list goes on. . . )
