i've been awake now for about 6 months i'd guess and a member here for a couple of weeks.
it's been eye opening to read other peoples experiences on here and i appreciate all of you.
i've noticed in many, seemingly most, of your comments that you were not treated well at your hall or you have had very negative experiences in the "org" so i thought i'd like to share mine.. in all my time as a jw i have to say for the most part i always loved the people.
My experience: Apart from the usual nasty ones (who I stayed away from), many were nice... BUT boring! Beyond "the truth", there was nothing much I had in common with them. Once I started to fade, all was lost

ok so thursday night, eldurr up on stage asking for brothers only...who have skills in construction, electical, and finish work, who were of the ages from 25-35 ..to pleeeeeease apply to help in ....get this😂 " theocratic construction" going on in various parts of the world.. this announcement happened in puerto rico.. many , many, many facepalms😂😂😂😂😂.

1. I thought worldwide construction was slowing down, with many projects being put on hold
2. Instead of asking brothers from another country to volunteer & travel great distances at their own expense, isn't it MORE practical to get local help for whatever construction which is needed???
3. If they are in such desperate need for help & skills, why does age matter? And wouldn't being older be equivalent to more years of experience in most cases, thus making one better skilled?
4. Why are sisters left out? Surely there are sisters who are qualified to do such work too!

has any body else heard this that they are asking members of different congs in new york to go and clean at bethel for free,if this is true then it really shows that the borg is short of money and might even be crumbling before our eyes
i heard from a "friend" that a letter was read aloud during the midweek meeting asking people to volunteer to do cleaning work in bethel.

Bethels worldwide are being asked to downsize in terms of manpower, so this comes as no surprise
By the way, I visited the Bethel in your country recently. It was undergoing renovations. More work = more $ needed = more free labor needed =)
