My yoke is easy and my burden is light, unless you're a JW than you will have many strange complicated rules
by adjusted knowledge inthere is this jw husband and wife i knew from the 80's when i was a child.
they got a divorce a few years ago and never remarried.
they are older now and unable to afford to live on their own.

Haters are gonna hate, and moronic pharisees are gonna be moronically pharasaical. -

VI - maybe he just hates having to wear a green sweater for eternity.
"Damn you all to hell, I really want my tight pants back!!"

Green sweater is obviously a ring-leader.
But if I had to spend a thousand years with the JWs I'd be pretty pissed too.

That they are the most clean-cut, well dressed rebels with a penchant for headbands that I have ever seen.
I ve seen scarier people at the post Christmas sales!

Clarifying This Weeks Watchtower...CTR Reference
by freemindfade inwhat the sunday watchtard said.... in 1876, an article written by charles taze russell was published in the magazine bible examiner.
that article, gentile times: when do they end?, pointed to 1914 as a significant year.
the article linked the seven times of daniels prophecy with the appointed times of the nations spoken of by jesus.. what gentile times: when do they end?

" See ourselfs as others see us"
by The Rebel inthe membership rule is simple, you join the organisation for life and undertake to serve for life.. my o.p is based on the poet robert burns who talked about the gift to " see ourselfs as others see us".
i think maybe the hardest thing for me to leave, the jehovers witness " organisation" was to accept how my family and friends will now "see" me.. so my questions are how difficult was it to leave:-.
a) knowing the reaction of friends and family?.

I have gotten to the stage were I don't care what or if they think of me.
And yes, it was worth it.
Now if I see them, I don't feel the need to either greet or grovel or to run and hide, I just go about my day not owing those SOBs anything.
I paid my price for leaving and I'm done and I'm free!

What were you favorite book in the organization? I know what you're thinking...LOL!
by BashfulAshG inwhat were *your favorite *books in the organization?.
out of all of those books, i liked "mankind's search for god.
" however, it appears to me that this book is incredibly obscure and no one recalls studying it during the old book study format.

Yeah, baby poo brown.lol. I managed to score my copy from the KH library when they were having a clean out and giving all the old books away. It seemed very different from the bible teach book and all the new ones. -

Oo, that's harsh.
An older brother I knew was deleted as an elder for not kicking his disfellowshipped son to the curb -they didn't disfellowship him though.
