  First off if the picture was real, (as opposed to a WT staged photo,)the dog was better off without this heartless family, something that cute would snapped up by some dog lover.

  But,I think it is damn irresponsible of WT to encourage those with young children to serve in countries where things like education, healthcare, the local infrastucture etc etc are inadequate and it can be downright unsafe for adults, let alone small children.

  Shame on you WT!

  Oh and newsflash to the GB: no one, nowhere on earth has a "need" for your family destroying cult. Piss off out of their countries these people have enough to deal with!

  i know there is no way to leave this cult fast enough, but is my fade too fast?

  If you are already inactive and sporadic in meeting attendance (IOW, they already view you as "weak") it could take a while for any of them to figure out you have gone AWOL.

  Only time will tell if the fade was "too fast" in the sense of spooking the elders into harrassing you. Just have an excuse ready for when or if anyone enquires after you.

  I wouldn't worry though, most JWs are put off quite easily.

  Every witness is taught to punish. It's called theocratic order.

  The GB punishes the elders, the elders punish the publishers, the publishers punish each other, and whoever is the lowest in the pecking order kicks the dog.

  we let the qualified buyers participate in a competitive bidding process and see where the market goes with it, devine told the eagle.. doesn't this logic reflect the same expectation of gambling or buying a lottery ticket?

  you don't know if you are going to win big or if you're just going to come out even or lose your $1 investment.. how do they know there's not going to be another market or housing crash the next day and get pennies for their properties?.

  how can they honestly say: "...see where the market goes with it" and at the same time condone other for playing lottery tickets or gambling or leaving things to chance like not getting higher education.

  Gambling ? No, I don't think so anyone selling a property wants to achieve the best price.

  Will they have an assembly talk or article telling the sheeple what money they are making on the sale of properties?

  I doubt it. So, in my opnion, it smacks more of greedy, dishonest bastardry, to be asking for ice cream money at the same time as multi million dollar property sales are going down.

  But, who really is "they" and what do "they" need all this money for exactly?

  Is all the money going into a giant fund labeled WWW? I don't think so!
