  that trend contrasts with the decrease in the number of partakers that we saw for many decades.

  i am not sure if anyone heard but it does appear that the mcfarland v watchtower lawsuit has been settled.

  the court only shows that it was settled so there was no longer a need for a status conference.

  that is all that i know on this.

  jw broadcasting june 2015, 15 seconds cut.. geoffrey jackson is proud that jw.org is using god's name.. then he convinced that jw.org does not know exactly what god's name is.. then he convinced that jw.org uses the name jehovah because it's most common recognized in english.. is this reasonable, asks geoffrey... yes!

  i'm a bit worried about god.. he seems to be doing some quite silly and frankly, insane things to prove he exists.. some bloke found words from the quran in a tomato.. jesus keeps appearing in toast and cats bums.. i'm worried about god.

  I take this as a good sign. I've noticed WT only talks about "negative" issues once they have become big problems.

  They avoid talking about a problem lest they draw attention to the fact that there are indeed problems in spiritual paradise.

  So, by the time it gets to the point of actually naming a specific problem in a talk or article I'm pretty sure it's because all efforts on the part of the borg to ignore said problem have failed!

  Translation :

  Negative talk/press is having an impact on the general public and witnesses themselves.

  Publishers are being questioned in the course of their ministry and activities.

  JWs are becoming "troubled" over it, and the GB are getting pissed off about it.

  Conclusion:

  All mentally diseased apostates, keep up the good work!

  Although, that being said the cynical side of me wonders if this kind of rhetoric is to reinforce the idea that the public ministry will be dialled down and directing people online be pushed as an alternative to face to face conversations with the heathen public.

  ANGOLA - JW Regional Convention target of attack.

  according to news sources in luanda, angola (read it here, although it's in portuguese language), a regional convention of the jw's taking place this weekend at the outskirts of capital luanda was targeted yesterday, friday, by what may be described as a 'terrorist attack'.. more than 400 attendees (mostly female) passed out in rapid succession in the vicinity of a toilet at the convention place.

  reportedly, toxic gas devices were planted there by 3 young members of unita, the main political party that opposed mpla, the dominant regime party in angola since its independence in 1975.

  43 people were rushed to the hospital and a few remain there, under medical surveillance.
