  i know this is kind of trivial but i don’t want to partake in something that might have connections with something that jehovah disapproves of.

  i checked the watchtower library and i didn’t find anything on gingerbread man cookies.. .

  good lord...how incredibly stupid and helpless are jdubs getting?

  Oh yeah they are concerned about gingerbread being pagan but that's only the half of it with these babies. Isn't it about time we all admit the term "ginger" bread "man" is racist and sexist.

  but we’ve had the jws be pretty active in our territory recently, and i got to say this to them on two separate occasions, to three different borgites, lol!

  Atheists for Jehovah

  there are hundreds or thousands of websites on jehovah's witnesses with all sorts of slants, but i have never come across any specifically for atheist jehovah's witnesses.

  has anyone ever seen a site for atheist witnesses?

  i think it would be a great idea, and we could call it atheists for jehovah, as a counterpart to the atheists for jesus.

  Atheists for Jehovah is sort of what JWs are.

  They don't "believe in God, religion or the bible" they only believe in one thing - the borg LOL.

  please tell me how not to think too much and get a good night sleep.

  when i was a jw i didn't think too much because i knew everything, but now my mind works overtime.

  how in the hell can i shut it down and stop the anxiety???

  Have an evening sleep ritual something to signal to your brain it's time to start winding down.

  Avoid devices and screens after a certain hour.

  Don't eat too late.

  Avoid caffeine late in the day.

  Avoid alcohol at bedtime as it may help you fall asleep but cause to wake a few hours later and getting back to sleep wil be more difficult than if you had none. Also will cause rebound anxiety.

  Read something boring and comforting at bedtime - fiction is good for this.

  Focus on breathing inhale for 7 hold for 5 exhale for eight - repeat.

  on another post of mine someone replied with a twitter link showing these stills from the next movie to be shown at 2018's rc, about jonah.

  not only is it very early for any leaks to be coming from the convention, but the images appear to be taken off of another screen, which leads me to believe someone behind the scenes leaked this against explicit directions.. also .

  where's the agm video leak by now?

  I don't get it is he just fishing for ideas for this book or the next one?

  Does he then get to keep all the stories and can then use them or parts of them as he sees fit now or later?

  I'm not really sure what a person's rights are once they hand over their story willingly like that.

  recommendation 16.27. the jehovah’s witness organisation should abandon its application of the two-witness rule in cases involving complaints of child sexual abuse.. recommendation 16.28. the jehovah’s witness organisation on should revise its policies so that women are involved in processes related to invesation and determining allegations of child sexual abuse.. recommendation 16.29. the jehovah’s witness organisation should no longer require its members to shun those who disassociate from the organisation in cases where the reason for disassocia on is related to a person being a victim of child sexual abuse..

  Seems utterly ridiculous to me that a western society is still talking about things like "confessional seal and sacrament" etc in 2017.

  If a secular society feels it must have organized religion then make them pay their damn taxes and be accountable for all their actions like the rest of us are. I am so sick of religion's free pass.

  Adam and the Dinosaurs

  here is a fascinating subject.

  according to the bible , one of adam's first assignments was to name all the animals including the sea creatures and dinosaurs of course.

  we don't know how long this took but, as all witnesses know, the time period is crucial in working out the timing of armageddon).

  Naming the animals would have been the easy part, sending out the updated list as the human population grew would have been a nighmare lol.
