Thanks for taking the time to reply Sherrie I was asking out of curiosity I was interested if your families or elders are keeping tabs on you both and if they will respond. I can see from your interview and reply to me here you guys will be ok you're well past the worst of it and have landed on your feet.

i had two episodes of visiting exjw websites:one time around 2007 when i just googled "jehovah´s witnesses" and dared to look at those sites.
i was scared and i promised myself i would never come back to them.
however, that one didn´t really count.the moment that woke me up was this:i got to know that whitney heichel was a jw and murdered by another jw, because i overheard that conversation in a kingdom hall.i looked up the news and in one of the news comments, there was one where an exjw was complaining that they were hijacking her funeral and they were really trying to downplay the fact that her murderer was a jw... and then it said "visit jwfacts.com"... which i did.and the rest... is history.what exactly got you onto an apostate website when you woke up?
I can't remember which one was the "first" but
JW facts - it was a simple easy to navigate website with credible information.
WTdocuments (Barb Anderson) - the personal experiences were invaluable for me to see I wasn't crazy or alone. Randy Watters bethel experience was very illuminating.
John Cedars/JW survey - interesting reading and, again, proof for me the questions I was asking and the conclusions I was drawing were reasonable not "mentally diseases."
JWstruggle YT - Eric is such a sweetheart.
What drove me to search apostate stuff was simple - desperation!
I was so lost, so confused, so alone with it all and out on a limb I literally had no one else or nowhere else to turn but to apostates for answers!
hi, i seem to remember that the society have said that you are not viewed as a witness if you have not reported for 6 months.. does this ring any bells?
someone i know has been called for a judicial, even though she has said she doesn’t believe and is not not attending meetings and hasn’t for 6 months.what she did was 12 months ago when she was a witness.. she is not sure whether she should turn up or not, as turning up shows she thinks she answers to elders still.
but also doesn’t want to be automatically disfellowshipped which may happen if she doesn’t turn up.. if there is an article to quote saying someone inactive isn’t seen as a witness, this would be helpful.. any thoughts?.
And in many cases they're simply ignored. It depends on the local body often times not any hard and fast rule.
In the case I commented on earlier it was the CO who put the kybosh on the investigation citing the "she has been inactive for a few years and the local community don't view her as a witness" principle even though that was debatable to say the least and there were elders gunning for her.
It's not what you know or what you do in JWland it's who you are related to.

So great you both decided to put yourselves out there it can be risky to out yourself publicly and officially as not in agreement with the beliefs of JWs and possibly put yourself in some zealous elders' crosshairs.
It may inspire others to do the same.
my wife and me have a booth at the local framers market.
there is usually about 12 t0 14 vendors each week on a small short street in town.
what is funny on each end of this short street are cart setups with 3 people on each cart.

The tennis heirarchy may be getting bored and wear her down with penatlies and point loss - it happens. Especially of she loses her shit everytime.

I know when I was still attending there was an inactive witness that owned a local caf and she started putting full on xmas displays in the window of the caf one year they did investigate but decided she had been inactive for so long they wouldn't pursue it.
She did come from a large influential witness family mind you and local witnesses patronized the business that could well have inflenced their decision because she was definitely known as a witness by the community at large.
These things are often arbitrary and capricious in nature as to how they are handled locally.
