I agree with simon cyber bullying is cowardly, and I applaud anyone who takes a stand.

Despicable crazy people
by jgnat inthere are some mental illnesses which come with the potential for extreme violence.
i'm not talking the sociopath here who kills without remorse, but those mentally ill people while in the throes of their delusions who are driven to kill.
the outcomes can be horrific.. on december 6, 1989, a lone gunman gunned down fourteen women at a montreal college.

That's the thing with psychosis the triggers are different with each person.
With some it may be religious writings or rantings, with someone else it may be
a war movie, or with someone else it could be the number 23.
I have known people with mental illness and inexplicable things can set them off,
let alone extreme religious or antisocial world views.
Mental instability and those things can be a recipe for disaster.
What is the answer? Honestly dunno :(

I think many JWs would secretly acknowledge that they have witnessed
or known of the licorice allsorts of personal, social or organizational injustices
that occur regularly in the cong.
But they will tend to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear.....until it happens to them.

Child Shunned by Jehovah's Witnesses International Convention, Melbourne, Australia (17-19 October 2014)
by jwleaks indocuments and media releases relating to the shunning and discrimination of a special needs child by jehovahs witnesses in relation to the melbourne international convention, 17-19 october 2014. the following documents and press release were received by jw leaks in relation to the jehovahs witnesses international convention at etihad stadium, melbourne, australia.
it is understood that due to last minute information in relation to the administration and control of the first aid health services at the convention the following press documents had not been released to the media.. prior to publishing and releasing the following sensitive information, the members of the team at jw leaks made formal inquiries with the victorian workcover authority (vwa) and the administrators of etihad stadium (melbourne stadiums limited) as to whether measures have been put in place to prevent the jehovahs witnesses and watchtower bible and tract society of australia from operating any first aid health services and first aid department in alleged breach of applicable health and safety laws.. we were assured that the jehovahs witnesses will no longer have control of the first aid management at the event but that st john ambulance first aid officers will be on site for each of the three days.
it is our understanding that this was done for the purpose of protecting the health and safety of all 70,000 daily patrons and delegates attending the convention.

I remember when a letter was read re the (then) upcoming international conventions
inviting those in "good standing" to apply.
It clearly stated that those with disabilities need not apply.
I thought at the time it could be classed as discrimination.

The ignorance of the "sheep"...and will door to door work phaze out due to being "challenged" too much at the door?
by integ inhello friends.. i notice alot of talk about the future and what it would take to bring the whole thing down and no one seems to think it can or will happen any time soon.
just seeing people here talk about what will happen once 2034 comes and goes is very discouraging.. i'm amazed this religion continues to move along as it does.
building, growing etc.

You gotta love the ole view-point question routine.
"Hello there wicked householder, let me ask you a viewpoint question
just so I can proceed to tell you how wrong you are, yay for me"
An end to D2D work?
They may pull the plug because the average witness doesn't have a clue
what they actually believe anymore, let alone "defend" it with a decent arguement.
