seems to be a jw connection with the crash after all, but it wasn't the co-pilot as some had surmised.

Strangely enough, I found a lot of witnesses seemed relieved when someone died

because they felt it meant they were guaranteed a resurrection.

That would explain their cavalier attitude to dying.

When I first stopped going to meetings I was really struggling trying desperately to hold on to whatever faith I had left. At the time, I would have welcomed a "visit" and viewed it as a sign of God's love.

Well it never came, and boy am I glad they are so damn uncaring, because it forced me to assess what kind of religion would reel me in with such fervor, then leave me for dead at the first sign of struggle.

If they had the gall to come around now with a pathetic attempt to win me back now

I will go all Gloria Gaynor on their asses and sing "I will survive '"

i have always thought that the members of the governing body are just a decorative elements in the visible cusp of the organization.

i have read conspiratorial topics about who really rule, but they are not visible.

I think the GB are actually the head honchos.

I also think that those charged with taking care of the business side of things, the lawyers and the bean counters would have to be finding imaginative ways of getting things done in order to keep the ship afloat, while keeping the GB happy.

Up til now they have'nt had to worry about recycling, they could just keep getting new converts and tossing them when they were done with them.

Is the Watchtower is blind to Jesus' teachings?

jesus ate with common sinners declaring that they were in (matt 21:31).. jesus denounced religious leaders declaring that they were out (matt 23 esp v15).. still the watchtower persists in making their own determinations, according to their own rules, who is in and who is out (prov 17:15).

this is why the apostate watchtower ruling religious clergy class and hierarchy surreptitiously and contemptuously hate and obfuscate the unabridged gospel which teaches that a right and clean standing is imputed on the basis of grace (faith) and not merit (works).. are their similar instances that come to mind for you?.
