As has already been said, that term might be new, but the list isn't.
I used to refer to it as "the formula" ( spoken in a Peter Lorre voice)

The Secret is out....but nobody cares
by MrTheocratic ini've been looking on this site for some time but never posted.
i'll give a little about myself, but not too much.
i'm a ex-bethelite ( brooklyn )and currently serving as an elder (10 years) (thinking about stepping down) on the service committee.

Many in this religion are "passenger" followers. What is a passenger follower?
*You attend the meetings of a high control religious group because not attending would make too many waves.
* You use part of your spare time trying get others to join, even though you don't believe it yourself, just so you can tick the "works" box
*You refuse to learn more about how many lives have been ruined as a result of the policies of the group because hey "most are nice people who just want to serve God"
*You dare not openly question the authority of the group and if anyone asks - you say "it's all good"
I was a passenger follower towards the end, just before I fully woke up and got out of the damn car.

What keeps me away from the JWs religion!
by Wonderment inthere are a few things that have kept me away from the jws organizaction.
these are the most prominent.. 1. jesus has been pushed aside, and replaced by the governing body.
wrong!!!!!!.

I would go a tad further and say that JWs are a dangerous and destructive cult, if what they have is so good why do they need to employ such heavy-handed tactics to keep it's members under control.

I don't mean to be rude, but, I think it's possible to be both stupid while wanting to serve God.
If the reasons for faith are exposed to be false, wrong or insincere what's the point?
I can think of less dangerous and intrusive social clubs to be a part of than JWs.

I agree with S&R, knowing it's bullshit and not caring is a bullshit attitude and a cop-out.
Ultimately it just contributes to the supporting of a bullshit religion.

What does GOD want from his human creatures?
by B4Right inin wtbs world it's "be jehovah's friend"- it's "don't do anything to damage your relationships age my relationship with jehovah" !!
when you look at all the human relationships between god and jesus everyone was "chosen"!!
in the law of moses was there anything that told individuals to have their own relationship with god?

March Broadcast- Jehovah is speeding up the work
by adjusted knowledge ini watched some of the segments on the jw broadcast.
in the video they showed how they managed their inventory orders for the congregations.
at the conclusion it was stated by the narrator how god is speeding up the work.. the problem is the system they implemented has been used for over two decades in logistics.

If anything is "speeding up" anything it will be the information highway known as the internet speeding up the WT being exposed for the cult that it is and hopefully backing up and speeding over it again. -

What would happen if all or most of the Governing Body died in some kind of accident?
by Esse quam videri inwith the organization controlled, totally and completely by the governing body, what would the watchtower society do to hold it all together if all or most of the governing body were to die?.
would the legal department step in and issue orders?
would the rest of the gb quickly appoint new members?

What would happen?
Oh lordy, the crying, the wailing, the youtube videos, it would be worse than the boy band one direction breaking up.

by TheFadingAlbatros inthe gb member's smile in the shape of a moneybox's slit speaks volumes about predictable entries in cash expected by jw's org.!!.

At the conclusion of his talk he just holds up the silver sword and announces "don't applaud just throw money."
