In the video there is a buffer between Sophia and the classmate as she goes home and tells mom who then tells her what to do. But in reality the message will be given directly to the kids because it's a video designed for kids.

Kids are not known for their tactfulness, or ability to contextualize they will say the darndest things after all. Most parents of children under ten or so know to be careful what to tell them as they can blurt stuff out in a way that sounds offensive or even wrong to any random person. The governing body won't have to deal with any potential blowback from this video's message the witness kids will. Shit rolls downhill, sorry kids.

Yeah, I see the connection a child's drawing of her two mothers which Sophia spies out, pulls it down off the blackboard, and pulls an icky face. Sophia then goes home tells Mom about the two mommies drawing which prompts a bizarre illustration about planes and luggage with the conclusion being "tell so-and-so about the paradise." Yeah makes soo much sense.

Why do you think the video was made for children? The video is in childish ambiguous paradise-speak for a reason. They couldn't make an adult version of this and get away with it. For one thing adults would be able to connect the dots of the message and tell the nosy witness where the hell to get off. WT likes to hide their propoganda in fairytale scenarios that have no bearing on real life. Just like all their stupid demos and what-not at meetimgs and assemblies.

The good news is I think kids today are smarter than this video.

i'm a little puzzled.

if the wtbts was not approved by jehovah and christ until 1919, does that mean that they were not spirit guided until then?.

if not, that would explain the countless errors in doctrine up to that time.. if, however, they were spirit guided, wouldn't that indicate that they had already been chosen?.

I find it puzzling that they would be chosen in 1919 before they had accomplished anything of note or gathered a world wide following. Makes no sense and could be likened to a contestant turning up to audition for American Idol or something and being told "no, no don't bother singing us anything you've won!"

It would make way more sense to me for them to claim official or rather celestial endorsement now.

This point alone helped prove to me they are not nor ever were "chosen."

they're pretty regular up here since it's only three and a half hours drive from nyc.. but this is a special kind of visit.. it turns out he's involved in doing a special research project and the christian congregation of jw's wants to know us better.. in order for the broadcasting to address issues more meaningful for families, they want to know the demographic make up of the congregations.. he spoke with the secretary about young single publishers and couples 20-35 y.o.

how are they employed.

Maybe they have figured their "cookie cutter" approach ain't working anymore and tailored broadcasts and articles is the way to go. Maybe Caleb and Sophia have proved so popular they have decided to expand their repetoire.

A Witness soap opera.

A Teens witnessing in style program.

Brothers who reach out wrestling matches.

The possibilities are endless, I imagine.

there it states that jehovah's witnesses show no prejudice towards homosexuals, and "they neither mock nor mistreat people whose practices differ from their own.

Good job, Paul. I like the way you call a spade a spade right from the outset. WT is indeed a disseminator of intolerance, judgement and division. The nicey-nicey "face" they like to portray to the public contains a sly message couched in language that softens their bigoted stance but their stance is very clear cut and that is that homosexuals that do not change their ways will be disfellowshipped and shunned and ultimately destroyed at armageddon.

Their message really is that simple no matter how much they dress it up, slap some corny animation on it and call it "loving."
