When the thought of going to the KH makes you want to sceam noooooooooo!
When you realise that engaging in JW chit chat makes you feel dumber.
When listening to talks makes you want to scream shut up shut up shut up.
you start listening to music deemed "unsuitable for christians".
you pretend to knock on the doors.
you explain a jw teaching to someone and realize how ridiculous it sounds.

i actually had a neighbor ask me that the other day (she knows i'm an "ex" jw) and i didn't really know the answer.
i know there's a bit of cart witnessing going on (small town) and a lot of driving around to return visits.. but are they actually doing territory, not-at-homes, all of that?
the neighbor said that eight years ago, when she bought her house, the jws were by "all the time".
If they are going D2D anymore it must be invisibly because they have been MIA where I live for about 2yrs now.
made the mistake of opening the front door today...i was expecting someone to service our central heating...oh dear, it was a sister instead :(.
she tells me jehovah misses me.
it seems god only sees me if i go to the meetings.
"Jehovah misses you." So lame.
So the brothers and sisters don't miss you only Jehovah. Gee so comforting.
i have once commented under the topic "are you better off as a worldly person or a jw?
i am a born-in but left nearly a year ago at age 16. i would say when i was a jw and was still fully convinced that it is the truth, i was happier.
i have a hope then.
Yes, you really dodged a bullet finding ttatt so young. The "what now" question is just a natural progression after finding out your sole purpose in life is not to please "Jehovah."
The real question though is what is your purpose? Finding that thing that makes you happy and gives you a reason to get up in the morning. You have plenty of time to explore.
picture 185,000 people on the streets attending the biggest event in long beach.
there is a main downtown street which is the only way into the grand prix.
it’s chaos because it is not private property that can be contained; these are working boulevards with cars and people vying to get where they want to go.
It's just about being seen.

It's more who will they share the info with and who else could have access to it. Personal information sharing is valuable to all sorts of groups it's big business these days.
The personal dirt/stuff would be useful to their lawyers and legal department if a member or former member turns whistle blower, makes allegations and embarks on some course of legal action as an individual or as a class action.

hi.. recently i've been researching jehovah's witnesses and their beliefs and found out that they don't believe in blood transfusions.
so, i've asked one of my friends who is a jw as to what is the reason for this, and so far, they had always directed me to a bible verse that is in their bible.. clearly, i wasn't getting anywhere and so far, it's pretty much frustrating to even make my friend give me reasonable reason.
when i was getting somewhere, even a smidgen, they would answer with a question.
Jehovahs witnesses don't actually answer intelligently with the bible.
Fact: JWs parrot cherry-picked scriptures and regurgitate cult propoganda. There's not a scripture they quote that isn't out of context and misapplied, sadly they are just too brainwashed to know it.

* morpheous - employers want to know what you watch and listen to in your freetime and if you're chaste?
+ JWs are not employees and do not get paid.
