Dear Bros,
It's appropriate to play the video along with the audio for the benefit of blind ones as the blind usually don't complain.
It's also appropriate to play both the audio and the video for the dumb as the dumb usually don't complain.

Bizarre. I still don't get why they were naked. Half-dressed maybe but naked???
There has got to be way more to this story than is said in the article to be sure to be sure.

wt and charitable works.
by zeb inmy wife (uber) mentioned today an elderly man who comes to the kh and he suffers from a sever stomach complaint which needs surgery and that there is a 'waiting list' at the local hospital.. so i says, "why dont the elders put the $$ together to get his op done privately.
" (ie out of the govt system and 'waiting lists').
her answer was telling.

They don't mind taking charity from "worldly" people. Or accepting organs or blood fractions from "worldly" people when they need one. Hypocrites.

JW org collapses
by I Faded Twice inok so this is a topic i've pondered and go back and forth on.. i can easily see a point where lawsuits cause massive deficits in the organization.
honestly i feel like we are seeing the tip of the iceberg in regards to lawsuits on child abuse.
to me it looks like the property sell offs are to be able to get ready for this.

Didn't that family with the sick daughter Felicity that appeared on a JWBorgcast use a gofundme for her trip to US for treatment and also her trip home again because HQ wouldn't cough up a penny?

Rutherford Exposed: The Story of Berta and Bonnie
by Farkel init was made by a women who in later years wore crotchless panties and bras which had holes in the nipple areas.
he not only knew the woman in question (she's now deceased), he has met her numerous times.
up until recently this secret of her year's long sexual affair with rutherford was kept by the family.

Study Watchtower confirms shunning spiritually weak. How nice!
by Isambard Crater init really hurt to hear brothers and sisters commenting about this at the meeting yesterday.. "as in solomon’s case, one of the greatest threats to spirituality is friendship with those who do not understand or respect jehovah’s standards.
some may be associated with the congregation but may be spiritually weak.
others could be relatives, neighbors, coworkers, or schoolmates who are not worshippers of jehovah.

I figure, by the time the Borg puts out an article such as this one the problem that it highlights is already a problem. The horse has bolted.
They (WT/GB) figure there are inactive people leading others astray and weakening their loyalty probably blame the inactive for poor meeting attendance rather than their own crappy religion and cold, loveless, boring meetings being the problem.

I'm considering putting off my leaving
by paradiseseeker ini just wanted to share with you the thoughts that i've had lately.. my plan was to get a job, become independent and then leaving the org throughout this year 2018. i'm going to achieve the first step in a matter of weeks, the second one soon afterwards but maybe i will wait a little longer for the last one.. one year ago a friend of mine was reinstated.
we weren't very close friends back then, although we got along well.
but, since no many jws in my town want to hang out with him (because of his being a former disfellowshipped), we started to talk and go out more often and in a matter of half a year we've become very close friends, like brothers.

Sounds like you've been looking for a reason to stay and you've found one, and that's fine btw, we all leave when we are good and ready. But just a few tips...
It well never be easy or "the right time" to leave and there will always be someone you don't want to disappoint.
Maybe if you leave your friend will follow suit ? You don't know who you may inspire to leave also.
Take responsibility for your own decisions and be realistic and truthful with yourself about it.
If you decide to stay for a while longer then stay a while longer because you decided it not because you're "helping" out a reinstated friend.
Give yourself a month or two and see how you feel about it then.
Maybe you're just not ready yet, but, remember the longer you stay the more likely you will be lulled back off into the sleep of inaction.
