TD I'm 15 if that's what you're asking
oh I forgot to mention that i was a lot less nervous asking her out than i normally am when I talk to her. Like a lot less.m
Still dont know why
well long story short, i've been meaning to ask this girl at school out for a while but i can never do it because her friends are always there in the way and i would prefer to ask her in person.
we've liked each other for a while (i was oblivious until about a month or two ago) and i'm also i bit worried she'll get tired of waiting.. i was just wondering if anyone had any advice or something that they could give me.

i just got back from my afternoon walk/run and about a block from home i saw two sets of jw's going door to door handing out invites to the memorial.. the first pair walked past me and only said "good afternoon" as they passed.. about two minutes later the second pair approached me and handed me an invite to 2014 memorial on april 14. i asked them why they chose the jw's as their church of choice and was told "we'd like to chat more but we have a set number of invites we have to get out before the memorial.
if you contact the kingdom hall listed here, they will tell you more... on how god's kingdom will rid the world of satan and the evil associated with him.".
i replied "you can't talk now?".
@mynameislame for the past 8 years that i was actually going to meetings I always remember how they loved to go on about pioneering in the memorial season. (Also if you didn't know there's a memorial season)
In my kh we always had at least 60 more people turn up on Memorial Day than normal and this spike in attendance usually only lasts for a couple weeks the. It goes back to normal
i have a non jw friend that knows about jws only bc i related toher my experience leaving this abusive cult.
anyhoo, she went to starbucks yesterday and there was an older man on his laptop.
she sat next to him while she did work on her tablet.
the sad thing is this seems too bizarre to be a spontaneous, one time thing.
He's probably done this before and it's either working or in his weird little mind, he thinks it's working and both options are just as worrying
weird that he called it doctrine though. In my old congregation the word doctrine was always associated with Christendom (usually the trinity) and if you even thought about calling anything taught at the kh doctrine you'd be in for a serious talking to at the back of the hall by an elder I'll tell you that much

You wanna hear something weird? This guy at my school made a really cheesy music video for a project and the song is called "moving on" and it's been stuck in my head all week and earlier today someone was playing it on her phone and it was all I could think about for the next 20 minutes on the bus ride home.
after that I was just trying to figure out how campers on mw2 can look at themselves in the mirror without punching it

I only said it was ok of she said no because I didn't want her to feel guilty about saying no and I felt a bit weird just standing there waiting for her to answer when it looked like she didn't want to
i do feel pretty relived knowing that I don't have to take any of the "you guys should be a couple" stuff seriously anymore

I asked her after school and she said no. Well not in those words. She said "awwww" a lot then "idk" then I said it's alright if she says no then she said we can still be friends and we'll still go to prom and I got a hug. Her saying no wasn't as bad as I thought it would be tbh. Im still glad I did it because I don't have to worry about her not liking me anymore since ik for sure.
If I do feel anything bad now it's that im a bit annoyed because her friends have been putting me through a lot of that "you guys should be a couple" stuff for a while even while they knew I liked her. It kinda gave me the impression that she liked me back and she never seemed to mind them doing it either. But even then I'm not THAT annoyed.

Thanks for all the advice guys I'm gonna go collapse into something remotely bed-like now

Yeah I do this kind of thing a lot. I'm scared to do something so I create a little tally chart in my head of why it probably won't go as I planned then use it to talk myseof out of doing it. Same thing happened when I wanted to ask her to prom a few months ago. Luckily for me she asked me instead (but this was a couple of weeks after the day I said I was "definitely" going to do it)
I'll (probably) do it tomorrow. Damn being confident takes too much effort.
i have a number of problems with the noah's ark story that i could never find the answer to in the bible and so i thought i could ask here:.
1.how did noah get animals that are indigenous to areas he could not get to (e,g penguins, koalas, kangaroos, moose etc) .
2.the flood supposedly happened around 4000 years ago but there is evidence of civilisation dating back a lot further.
Lol "god dunnit"
pretty sure that's the title of the drama at the next DC.

Fadetoblack that could work
Lol i'll need to use legible handwriting though which could be difficult
crazyguy I get along with most of her friends so I don't really have a problem talking to them. It's just that they know we like each other and whenever we're within 5 feet of each other her friends turn into giggle-monsters and I feel embarrassed and make up an excuse to leave
i was thinking about asking one of her friends if they thought she'd go out with me if I asked to kind of give the message to back the fudge off but that doesn't work when they're always in a group
