  ADCMS this is off topic but why couldn't god just do that but with Eve or at least her first daughter? Seems more efficient to me.

  I think that it would have been a more effective account if it turned out it was Satan (talking through a serpent of course and pretending to be god) telling Abraham to kill Issac and god intervined when he realised how faithful he was to him. Then god would lay down some rules that would be the basis for determining if it's god or something else. At least then it wouldn't have to be taken too literally.

  But as it stands i don't see how it benefits anyone. If you live your life faithful to god, you might just get a really messed up task from him but... lol he was just testing you. Let's all just forget the fact that you were about to kill your beloved son.

  If you don't go through with it then obviously you're an unfaithful little b*tch who's gonna get turned into salt or something.

  Reverse Witnessing - Will NEVER work!

  after a lot of 'tactful' questioning, i have come under the conclusion that witnessing ttatt with dubs will never work.

  there is nothing called reasoning with them.

  well 2 timothy 3:16 tells us:

  "All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness"

  So really anyone who doesn't follow this rule is ignoring the wonderful provisions that god has provided

  My mum's dragging me along and i can't wait to be talked down to like an idiot when i see the elder that tried to stop me from leaving again. Last time we spoke he kept saying "we'll talk another time" and kept ignoring me when i said i wasn't coming back.

  The thing that really annoys me is that i was planning on going to bed early that day so i could see the lunar eclispe the next morning but i cant now

  I'm just annoyed i didn't read this stuff BEFORE i wasted how many weekends doing fs that didnt even count to anything because i wasnt a publisher. And back then it probably would have woken my mum up too but now she just goes into "wait on Jehovah" mode every time i say something
