  People who don't use turn signals in their car (hello, that is why they were made for)

  People flicking cigarettes out of their car (what happened to using car ash trays)?

  People talking in movie theatres (save that for home with a rental)

  People who take a whole buggy of groceries to the express checkout lane (10 items or less)

  Men with big droopy boobs going topless at the beach or elsewhere in public. ( If women can't do it, why can men )?

  People who take their baby to the grocery store in only a diaper and stand by the frozen food section and wonder why their baby is crying (they are cold DUMMY)

  People who fart and think just because we can't hear it we won't notice ( DUH, we have noses you know )

  They are huge now..they will be 2 years old next month.

  Discipline or Child Abuse?

  i remember spanking my son when we used to attend meetings and conventions because he cried and just wouln't sit still.

  i was told that he had to be disciplined so he would learn to behave and learn what was being said from the platform.

  now that i look back i realize that that was child abuse and i feel so horrible about it.do you feel guilty for spanking your kids during meetings and conventions?

I was told that he had to be disciplined so he would learn to behave and learn what was being said from the platform. Now that I look back I realize that that was child abuse and I feel so horrible about it. How can you expect a child to sit for 2 hours and not become bored? I remember when I was studying to become a JW, I asked if they had a nursery or if they had Sunday school at the Kingdom Hall for the kids and I remember her saying no because the children had to learn with the adults. A red flag should have come up then. How can you expect a child to learn at an adult level? In the meantime children are being spanked and that makes me so angry!Do you feel guilty for spanking your kids during meetings and conventions? I DA'd myself when my son was 5 years old because he cried one day after school (kindergarten) because his teacher celebrated her birthday in class and he wasn't able to participate, so she sent him to another class. That broke my heart as he looked into my eyes and asked me why he couldn't go to the party, with his eyes filled with tears. Really made me look into things. I was just tired of my children suffering.

  holy crap it's hotter than hell out there!!

  i know, i know, i had bitched back in early may cause it was snowing outside, but this is crazy!

  right now, it's 30 celcius, or 86 fairenheit outside.

  Against...I think they should be able to live with what they have done for the rest of their life on earth. Putting them to death is just an easy way out for them. Just my opinion.

  At first when I DA'd myself 5 1/2 years ago it was for comfort and healing. Now, I log on from time to time to see what my fellow EX JW's are up to and to see where the society stands. Freedom feels oh so good

  Should dubs sun-bathe?

  so smoking cigs is a drug, yea like caffine (saw this posted somewhere recently), so then they say, its a defilement, and cause cancer etc.

  by this method of thinking, is it also wrong to deliberatly sun-bathe, knowing full well its dangerous (especially here in australia, lots of skin cancers from it) and possibly not showing respect for "the sanctity of life"?.

  someone asked me this while i was still a dub, i think it helped put a dent in the old "faith" bridge.

  If you really want to be outside in the sun, it would be best to go to an Elder’s house and spend the time in the backyard listening to Kingdom Melodies and studying for Sunday’s meeting, with the appropriate sun block on of course.
