  did anyone else see this show last night?

  it was on the more obscure bbc4 (available in the uk on satellite or cable).. http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/listings/programme.shtml?day=yesterday&filename=20031029/20031029_2200_4544_28579_40.

  the programme looked at recent media preoccupation with the end of the world (asteroid collisions, global warming, etc.).

  i was looking on the thread on music when i just thought to ask that question.

  for me, it was gwar's violence has arrived.

  i remember loving that band so much when i first heard of them to the point where i downloaded everything they had, from album mp3's to rare bootlegs.

  Not sure I can remember. "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor? I think hubby's was "School's Out" by Alice Cooper - he sure got a rocket off his mom! LOL! The collection we have amassed since our teens would make some JWs' faint.

  The movie that scared me the most though was without a doubt Night of the Living Dead

  Hey Enishi!

  Hubby's favorite movie! He says the trilogy ('Night of...' 'Dawn of...' and 'Day of...') is unsurpassed.

  I've never seen it myself. I prefer Things and Aliens busting out of ppl's guts, personally.

  LOL! From one who has had one or two (or three or four...) *monster* hangovers in her time ... you'll learn that it doesn't do for your body to take such a beating.

  TIP: No matter how smashed you are, make sure you drink gallons of water before you collapse face down on the floor for the night.
