  Stacy : Sure a relationship could grow to the point where I don't want to be apart (1). But the kids. I won't have them (2) . I wouldn't make a good mother and I know I wouldn't and I don't like kids that much to begin with. At some point in time I will have surgery to assure myself of this (3). Most likely after I've turned 25 or so.

  (2) Well I understand but I've met some woman who was thinking like you and at 40 are now just sorry for themself SO you should forget about (3) just take care - enough ways to make sure of that !!!
  
  Having a kid is a freaking crazy responsability ... I know lots of "supposed good mothers" who don't give a shit about really loving their kids (in fact they are perfect HOUSEWIFES not MOTHERS) But IF you are able to understand and really love your kid ... HE WILL NEVER BE A PROBLEM ... NEVER (cause he will understand you ... when you are tired, when you are sad, when ... Wathever, you even can fail ... He will still love and understand you) KIDS are TRUE GOLD !

  First MaybesBabies you can let a man know how much you love him (so he can't regret you when you won't be there anymore) ... BUT ... never let a man know, how much he's got contrôl on you (even if you love him to death !!! NEVER)If he doesn't answer your needs one way to manage this kind of guy :
  1) He wants you home just as a stupid housewife = ok be out (working out / visiting friends / stay at your office / I mean forget about being THERE FOR HIM
  2) He don't want to go out with you = ok go out with friends / colleages of work or whatever ... (just tell him before ... SO ...He will be the only one to blame )
  If he don't care : Good ... that just means it's time to move ... love is somewhere else
  If he cares he will be able to answer your needs and you'll be back on track together (with balance)
  This way at least you are not wasting your time/life ...

  Nosferatu you should open a counseller office !!!

  Positives to Being Single: It can be fun, exciting, and challenging playing the dating game. You discover what you like and don't like in the opposite sex. You also have all the freedom you want.
  Negatives to Being Single: If you figure out how the whole game works, it becomes too easy and ends up being boring. It turns into a never-ending cycle of meet, date, breakup. You also become more prone to STDs
  
  Positives to Being in a Relationship: You get to invest in a mate. There is no boring cycle because you're continually advancing. You get to experience living with someone, having children with them, etc. You can also develope trust in the other person. Very low risk of STDs.
  Negatives to Being in a Relationship: Less freedom and making sacrifices. There is also the risk factor of investing in something that may or may not last.

  during my time in the dubs, i recall that many "scriptural fulfillments" were listed in the society's literature, in particular the 1914 doctrine.

  however, it occurs to me that most of these fulfillments were recognised after the event actually took place, and, call me a cynic if you will, i have a sneaky feeling that anyone with only one brain cell can make a prophesy about something that has actually already happened.

  after all, hindsight is a wonderful thing!.

  and a + forget about giving you some compliments (in fact it's natural - Just do the same if it pleased you and believe me you will have your compliments right back and more than expected from him and the others !!!) the only way to balance the situation otherwise they don't understand and you will be the only one who have to understand ...

  I gotta agree with Maybes. When I was engaged and first married, my hubby did the same thing. (Look at good looking women while I was in the car with him). He never considered how I felt. It really irritated me.

  French, if it's natural for men to do that...I wish they'd keep their opinion to themselves if they have a girl with them (A). Thee was never a balance as far as I am concerned....

  I don't know if I understand your answer but :
  1) (A) of course I agree read (A) in my post
  Personnally I don't like to talk on such things (is about deep incounscious stuff some of them just can't no looking other woman and I can even understand that) ... but still my way to balance here is to make sure that he knows what it is all about (RESPECT !!!) and believe me it works ... (you maybe have an other solution - but you know I'm not married so ... I have to KEEP IT CLEAR)

  Ok ... To me : single / 36 / never really lived with somebody (but dated 11 years with the same guy with a few long and not long separations)

  What I like : This gonna very short
  in order
  the talks even if I agree or disagree, the hugs (both on the same level)the common projects (any kind)

  What I dislike : This gonna very short also
  I feel like I can't really be myself all the time (whish is always an issue)
  Don't feel like to have someone home every single day, cause I need to be alone most of the time

  BUT still I like to be there whenever he needs me for real !!! (for whatever like : for or and when he is or or and of course for )
