  Actually, I'm referencing the Roman 'iron' system which came into Europe and permuted into the nation-state system we call the 'West' today.

  The figurative 'iron and clay'.

  This 'empire' is plainly referenced in Daniel 2, and 7.

  Not to be confused with a spurious framework similar to the Daniel 11 UK-KoTN / US-KoTS conception I know you are familiar with.

  You mention Hammurabi -- but did Hammurabi inspire European legal formation?

  No, Christianity and the Torah did. Hence, these other notions are irrelevant to facts of history.

  The point of 1 Corinthians 1 is God invalidating man from saying "I already know" (or, I know better) we don't need to learn from you.

  No, not circular reasoning.

  "Baked into the cake" because of this notion:

  For it is written: “I will make the wisdom of the wise men perish, and the intelligence of the intellectuals I will reject.”

  Where is the wise man?

  Where is the scribe?

  Where is the debater of this system of things?

  Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish?

  The haughtiness of man blinds him from the truth Jesus Christ revealed. Hence, God is in effect blinding the 'wise'.

  And further:

  but God chose the foolish things of the world to put the wise men to shame;

  and God chose the weak things of the world to put the strong things to shame;

  and God chose the insignificant things of the world and the things looked down on, the things that are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,

  so that no one might boast in the sight of God

  So, as you can see, this isn't 'circular reasoning' but evidence (as it has occured as stated) that God is behind these writings.

  Evidentiary analysis, not limited by reductionism.

  Plato vs. Aristotle. I see the shadow.

  Fact A:

  Jesus said that many people would leave the faith leading up to his return

  Fact B:

  Many people are leaving the faith

  Now, you can throw that out, and say "but it is just the natural course" or any other number of rebuttals.

  But what about a higher conception, or framework of understanding?

  As acknowledged, you can invalidate these claims.

  God isn't making this clear so that any random people 'believe'; as if his goal were to simply get people to 'believe' he exists.

  Hence the prophecy about a 'great falling away', the figurative threshing of the grain to remove the chaff.

  So, as frustrating as this is for you I'm sure, I believe it's built into the framework that reductionist thinking leads nowhere regarding the Bible.

  Rather - the gestalt of the works, connecting with higher conceptions. Modus ponens, in a sense.

  And deductive reasoning. These allow me to see beyond reductionist thinking.

  There is not a pre-exile manuscript.

  That doesn't mean it's false, or true. Instead, you take the gestalt of the works, and assemble a conception.

  For verifiable prophecies (which I will list here in a bit), you look to what was said about Jesus.

  Bethlehem, David's family, killed as a criminal, started a worldwide revolution in the nations, etc.; findable in the Septuagint.

  Using the Septuagint, we can also verify Daniel's 'Alexander' prophecy, which authenticates the Bible along with the other prophecies about Christ.
