Surgery Tomorrow

well the big day is finaly upon me.i know i have'nt been posting these last few day's i been in a lot of pain,to sit and my pc, so i just wanted you all to know that it will be at least 3 weeks until i get home.i will be thinking of about all of you and my son has promised me that he will update every few days here

this is my first forum post though i've been out here reading yours for a while.

i didn't know how to post my bio.

i became a jdub at the age of 16. i had a child out-of-wedlock who was 1 year old at the time and i was searching for answers - i wanted my son to have a future and the one the witnesses portrayed was better than anything i'd ever heard!

Enjoyed hearing about your experience...........I have to agree, when they came out about college being ok, and ONLY if you are a pioneer, that made me mad too!!!

Glad to hear your life is much better and YOU have control of it. Have you read Steve Hassan's books? If you haven't...I highly recommend them both.

News About Lady Lee

i finally got through to lady lee.

she's living in ottawa and is mostly confined to a wheel chair.

her feet are worse and can barely walk.

Tough day -- my mom died today

poor thing, she's had alzheimer's for about 10 years and the last year she's been on hospice care because she's been so close to death.

the past few months she's been slowly filling up with water -- they gave her lasix (not sure of the spelling) to relieve the edema and it worked, sort of.

last weekend she actually looked a little better.

I am so sorry for your loss and watching it too.......very sorry indeed

It is a difficult thing when our parents die. I was 14 when my Mom died of cancer.....she lived her last 3 weeks in the hospital....and I don't even think she knew who I was the last week or so.......

I sure hope she can see the full moon tonight....it is indeed beautiful.

Please know my thoughts are with you.....even though we haven't met in person and if I could take away any hurt you are feeling, I surely would.

some people don't 'believe' there are such things as coincidences but whatever, what's the greatest of coincidences that has ever happened to you?

How I met NOdenial.

I had given up on meeting a brother.

I was planning on moving out of state.

I made a final prayer to Jehovah.............stating I wanted to be happy, but if it was his will I meet someone......bring them to me.

A week later I met NOdenial.

Bizarre!!!!!!!!!!!

I think so..................As NOdenial was not from my country........nor was he planning on coming thru where I was......it just happened!!!

and more bizarre.......we are both posting here!!!.........go figure?!?

i'm not normally much of a mexican import drinker.

mostly like english and german imports (us majors dont make beer worth a crap, micros are pretty good).

dear concerned forum posters:

i feel at this time, in my long and varied career here at the forum, i must protest to the exalted and respected administator of this site, that a problem does exist in it's "labeling" of posters.

this concerns the titles that are given to posters when they reach a certain amount of posts.

HadEnuff: I feel your pain!!!

When I first started posting here I wondered the same thing, and felt like you: sick of all the JW titles, I even got accused of being a troll!!! I then felt this board was no different than going to the KH!!! Fortunately I knew some of the mods that stuck up for me and quieted the name callers down!!!
