there's a very exciting development in our little jw family.
i've kept the news close to my chest, as i wouldn't want to jinx it.
it's a great story full of drama, intrigue, a mild sunday school teacher, the internet, and a bunch freaked-out elders.

I have been to many KH's.....it's the same game, the good ole boys club rules them all.

i actually have several reasons why i don't resent my witness upbringing, but it sure came in handy today.. last year i posted about helping 50 kids run in the seattle kids marathon at my daughter's school.
the event was a blast and while it was a ton of work, seeing the joy on the kids' faces when they crossed the finish line made it all worth it.. this morning i spoke to the entire student body at my daughter's school at their monthly spirit assembly.
if i hadn't been raised a witness, giving talks from the time i was five, i never would have attempted such a thing.
That is ONE of my proudest points:

I am an accomplished speaker, not afraid of People........I am great at sales and marketing.........Everybody who knows me, knows I am great at that!!! People that are getting to know me, are amazed that I can work a "room" the way I do...
Positives to negatives (in being in a cult).......you betcha!!!
That is training that even Toast Masters can't give you.................

My sister n law, was diagnosed with it in 96...she chose the lump removal and no chemo/radiation.............Must be they discovered it in the early stages.....she is just fine! I visited with her this summer... I don't know what I would do...my Mom died of cancer (bone marrow that spread everywhere), so I could see myself doing the removal of the breast and reconstruction...........my opinion... Whatever you chose is personal and no one should judge you for that, at all!
BTW, how are you doing? Did you get the mail I sent you?
