  Finally going to the Dr...........

  as some of you know about my aneurysm(leg area) last year - well after much persuasion and basically getting my arse thrown into a vehicle i am going for my check up.

  i was supposed to go in jan(oops).

  undergoing 3 surgeries and being told i am going to die left and right scared me of going back.

  my brother and i had good harmony.

  i played lead and i'd sing but i preferred just to play lead.. .

  this was about 1967. i was about 23. i still have the jazz and the fender amp.

  sometimes you really are in the right place at the right time.. i went for a roll along the bike paths.

  i crossed the ottawa river and followed the bike path.

  one of the things i missed the most about moving to manitoba was the changing of the leaves.

  Did You Ever "Tell Off" An Elder or Circuit Overseer?

  i know of very few that would "dare" tell off a co but elders were different.

  having been an elder for many years, it was very easy to go back and forth with a fellow elder and basically tell him he was dumb.

  I politely told a Circuit Overseer off....HE immediately apologized to me and said he was at fault!!!

  I sent a letter to an elder after his supposed shepherding visit. He told me I needed to get on with my life....(I went through a horrible divorce with a cheating husband) He even told me about how another family got on with their life (after a tragedy)...LIKE that was suppose to be ME? He never responded to the letter but he was kinder to me.

  Running my first 5K - Want to come and cheer me on? :D

  on saturday, september 9th, 2006 i will be running my first 5k (3 miles) race in the freedom run (www.freedomrun.com).

  we start running at 8:30 am.

  there will also be a 1 mile walk for anyone who wants to support the cause but is not up to running three miles.

  i got a job today that i have waited for two years for.

  this girl i work with has sang at shows having erika badu on the lineup and she just got signed with a record contract.

  her name is rene washington.

  It's ok....I have had a terrible month...soon to get out of working full time with a cult-like employer....(I was stressed beyond belief...that and trying to get settled)

  I haven't had much computer time to post or even answer my emails. I had a 6 day work week........yuck!!!
