New to all of this

i was raised in the truth my whole life, my immediate family are jws and my moms mom is a witness as well as my fathers mom.

other than that the rest of my family are non jws.

i was raised very balanced, my parents never forced the truth on me or my siblings like most of my friends parents did getting baptized at ridiculous ages!

March Broadcast- Jehovah is speeding up the work

i watched some of the segments on the jw broadcast.

in the video they showed how they managed their inventory orders for the congregations.

at the conclusion it was stated by the narrator how god is speeding up the work.. the problem is the system they implemented has been used for over two decades in logistics.

Yup! No doubt about it. The desert god's got them faster camels with blades on the hoof now.

A state of the art 21st century innovation. Trolleys!!! The work moves so fast , it makes the franchisees CEOing the invention look like they are .....Sitting Stills.

i've been looking on this site for some time but never posted.

i'll give a little about myself, but not too much.

i'm a ex-bethelite ( brooklyn )and currently serving as an elder (10 years) (thinking about stepping down) on the service committee.

Why attack?

as someone brought up as a jw and been an elder and been disfellowshipped (twice!!!

) i find it difficult to understand why ex jws have to attack the religion, yes religion, not cult or sect.

i am no longer disfellowshipped just do not want to practice anymore.

A buffoon is a buffoon - be it a man or a religion.

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, quacks like a duck; it's gotta be the WTBTS.

And if you wanna Quack loud , while sounding like looney toons- you are gonna be called out on it.

C'mon, Mr. newquatrjob, It isn't "attack". Some of us are just having fun trying to take the mickey out of the borg!!

Can you blame us if the organization is gonna continue with their spiel ; which is ,currently, the gold standard for pure, unadulterated garbage?

As you have so rightly pointed out,"come on fellow humans live and let live. Allow people to be fanatical or not to give a damn!"

In keeping with that tradition-One man's religion is another's laughter!!

If the WBTS is gonna continue with their buffoonery, well thats only honey for humorists, satirists,cartoonists and spoof-artists.

Again in keeping with Woody's advice, they ARE "playing nice".

it would be written specifically for those faded or da/df.chapters are:a letter from the governing body1.

was really weird.. the site looks clean, i miss the old site however.

...I stare at the dregs at the bottom of my cup - a metaphor for the darkness that scrapes the dry casks of my mind.?

I raise my eyes upward, to seek answers from the hapless whisps of white, battling to stay their place against the blaze of fury that mocks with fire -a voiceless scream against a flaming blunder...When suddenly , I behold , high up in the ether, looking down with eagle eyes, wild and free; the tonsured monarch, who neither drought nor flood daunts, as he searches for life among the rocks far down below -life that sustains life ; life that mocks the lie that is death!

And I laugh, my spirit soars, reaching to embrace that great lord who defies the inevitable. Clears my mind of the dark illusion ,that life must end. For life never ends even when the last breath is drawn.

And as for the last drop drained? A mere signal that it's time-- for another cup from the elixer -that is life still undead!!
