  in the past, the former vp has challenged trump to a push-up contest and today he did again , only this time to an 83 year old man who told biden that he thought he was too old to run for president.

  it appears biden called him fat and unlike the man he wasn’t sedentary.

  then he challenged the man to a push-up contest.

  holy shit!

  i went to the meeting on thursday night to hear my grandson and my daughter give their "talk" on the misery school!.

  the very first part on the next meeting that follows the misery school was a 15-20 minute part, with a video of course, on the many ways to donate money to the wt!

  the book study this week dealt with jesus and the 10 lepers.

  we have long been told that the isolation of lepers was an application of scientific wisdom long before it was understood in any other context.

  well, yes it could be said that this quarantining did help protect those uninfected.

  Jehovah's house for Sale?

  when i drive by the kingdom hall i grew up attending at but, was sold directly to a church, i get angry.

  the elders who handled the sale didn't even remove the watchtower shaped bricks on each side of the sign near the street so, now they advertise for a baptist church.

  how many times as i grew up i heard things like: you should not do work ( such as clean carpets for a church) you wouldn't want to work at a cigarette making plant or a facility that makes bombs for the military.

Recommend this to anyone interested. One cannot help but hear the GB every time Mc enzie Crook speaks. It’s almost as if he is mouthing what the GB is always spouting about being the mouth piece of “God”!

  What is astonishing is the number of dislikes after arguments for anti-evolution have been put in the trash basket. Wonder what the dislikes are really for ! That you have lost the half baked arguments you came with, or just plain prejudice against the real facts! If one has a real fact based argument that negates Evolution then put it up. Otherwise, stop being a JW and hitting those negative buttons.I refer to the JW habit of running from an argument saying” we don’t want to argue..”! What they mean is they don’t have facts to bring to a real debate. About the same modus operandi about sums up those hitting the dislikes so often!

  By the way go ahead and hit the dislike on this one as much as you like. Make sure the skin on your fingers don’t wear out!

  The "figurative" heart

  about 25 years ago i gave a talk about how when the bible talks about the heart that it is the literal heart and how the heart and the brain are connected by nerve tissue.

  the watchtower even stated that some people who received a heart transplant would take on some of the personality of the donor.then all of a sudden the borg changed and said that when the bible refers to the heart that it is figurative.

  then when ever the watchtower referred to the heart it always put the word figurative in front of it.. does anyone know why there was a change in the use of the word heart?

  Because the GB has a figurative heart . They are so removed from what real love and concern for one’s fellowman truly is, that they live in a twisted fantasy-make -up -world -of -make -believe. Make shit up and the rank and file believe.

  As a JW Did You Prefer a “Stricter” Congregation or a More Liberal One?

  in my experience, there were three types of witnesses.

  some were barely witnesses while others were extremely conservative types who followed the letter of the law.

  and then you had those in the middle who just went with the flow.. i knew many witnesses who “felt safe” being in a stricter environment.they were actually proud that they belonged to such and such congregation because it was filled with strict bethelites..
