  my mother has been through a lot in her life, some bad before the truth, then following through during and after.

  almost all of which she never shared with me until the past few months when i had to have my questions answered to get past the events i was stuck on.

  i feel i am aging in years every month now, and was curious as to why.

  of course there are exceptions to everything, this is strictly my view and no judgments should be implied.... there are different levels of brought-in, starting with the varying ages of childhood, when the childrens parents are brought in.

  for the purposes of this, i am dealing with from teenage on up.. brought in witnesses are in a class unto themselves.

  lets look at what happened to them.... a witness approached them, and something the witness had to say struck a chord.

  Bttt I am resurrecting this thread. I think this is a good description of what a lot if us went through.

  Wonderlustguy really knew how to get to the heart of the matter. He did not get any responses to this post.

  How accurate do you think his discription was and do you think it is relevant now?

  Imo I think this would be useful for those who are studying.

  Dealing with feelings of resentment?

  on the main i have found peace with my watchtower exsperience, but i do have occasional feelings of resentment towards some i feel dissapointed in.

  i have tryed to dismiss this with it was my fault for putting these people on a pedestal they didnt belong.

  but how deal with these feelings?.

  Dw.. there is no right answer. Everyone is at a different place in their journey. You are not alone you are a part of the "WE" he was talking about. "We" came here because we were alone and hurt. Many stayed because they realized they were no longer alone .

  Some are voices for those who are speechless, some show strength to those who feel weak, some offer solace to those in pain.

  Everyone here who has shared their journey has something of value to offer. Your pain is likely echoed by another's, we learn from each other but most importantly we know there is someone here that understands.

  ((((LOIS)))) I feel for you. I am glad you have found some understanding and answers. Maybe it helps so we can stop blaming ourselves or wondering what was wrong with us.

  My sister was molested by several different men at different times when she was very young. She once told me she thought something was wrong with her to make them target her. She asked why her?

  Maybe understanding why can take a burden off our shoulders so we can heal.

  Sometimes the only answers we get are sometimes: monsters do exist and evil happens.

  Here is another old thread that deserves a second look. This brought tears to my eyes.

  I wonder if wonderlust guy is still around. If you are: great job. You have a way with words. You are right I think you speak for many. Thank you for being my voice.
