The witnesses got away with covering up another molestation case
by recovering inhttp://www.webpronews.com/jehovahs-witnesses-get-only-partial-dismissal-in-child-molesting-case-2015-04.
i find it extremely interesting the comment of one of the posters who is studying with the witnesses.. frank j karasienski 3 days ago .
individuals are flawed..... looking at this article it really makes it look like an organization is hiding the situation.

HeyThere
The witness comments to that article are so disturbing. Outrageous. They do show their true colors when they get wound up. Someone should forward those comments to the attorneys handling these cases to show the courts just how witnesses think of them. -

2. That you can get the blood donate personality transfusions in with a blood transfusion, or become a crackhead. Okaaay.
3. That you can be infested by a demon if you get earrings at a garage sale
4. That apostate literature can bring demons into your home...

HeyThere
I accidentally hit dislike trying to like this post...like like like!!! It is disturbing. This new way to continue the mind boggling indoctrination is frustrating me, because my husband is sipping on the kool-aid and though we are now at a place where he is being respectful of my decision to not be a witness, he spends considerable time daily studying and making our child study. I don't know how to wake him up. I am hoping he picks up on the crazy but he hasn't yet. -

Why a JC if the adulterous mate is forgiven?
by snugglebunny insupposing a man's wife has had an affair, confessed all and genuinely regrets what's happened.
the husband, after much soul searching and agonising, realises how much he still loves her and how much both of them want to rebuild their shattered relationship.. why should that woman then have to sit in front of a judicial men-only committee and give a blow-by-blow account of her affair?.
how would that make her husband feel, knowing that his wife is sharing intensely private stuff about her affair with several other guys?.
-
HeyThere
One of my relatives had a judicial committee formed when she went to the elders for help after the death of a friend. She went because she was repentant. She had stayed drinking allot and messed around with a guy. Not only did they disfellowship her during a very trying emotional time, but they also asked her some of the most personal questions. They were specifically asking her where she licked, sucked, etc. And required quite graphic answers, including how much she liked it, etc. She is born in, and still was very upset about it all...upset enough to tell me about it even though she knows my stance. Even her die hard jw mom was appalled. But she still is as jw as ever...and has even said that the reason I stopped going to meetings is because the devil is at work.
The control this religion has on believing members is so strong, it doesn't surprise me at all that they would insist on graphic confessions and that members give those duals even if they don't feel is right "from a human standpoint"

by Bucholz inhello everybody, i was wondering if anyone has been guilted or emotionally blackmailed into attending the memorial this year.
something along the lines of "if you loved your family you would at least attend the memorial".
i myself haven't attended in 5 years.

KH 1st timer, could use some advice
by rathernotsay inhey people, .
i am soon going into a kh for the first time and i could use some advice around etiquette etc.
i know next to nothing besides the fundamental beliefs of jws, i personally dont believe in any religion, and that stance isnt ever going to change, however i don't want to come across as rude or disrespectful.

HeyThere
My jw spouse also cheated on me...and ran back to the kh after being caught although he had been inactive for over a decade. I initially went with him to the hall, but soon realized all the manipulation and falsehoods that are commonplace in the religion. I don't go anymore, my husband has finally accepted that I will not ever be a jw. But it is challenging. Especially with kids. Good luck.
