JWs and their views on Sex
by campaign of hate inin the past i have read on this forum that the wt have a say in the "bedroom" of couples.
i thought that was a bit overkill at first, but recently i have come to conclusion that this is true.. the control administered by the wt cooperation on ones sex life is not on only intrusive, its damaging.
they control every aspect of ones thought and action, thus leading most down a path that said corporation wants them to tread.. this path is to get married young, and then eternal loyalty the the organisation.. so how can an organisation force you to get married young?.

I know of an elder that prays before having sex with his wife. That is what he told his student once when we went to conduct a book study. Always pray, any moment, even before sex. -

Updated Chronological Timeline of the Great Tribulation -- after the New Light from July Watchtower
by FusionTheism inthe july 15, 2015 study watchtower article entitled "your deliverance is getting near", along with the jw broadcasting video entitled "gerrit losch: fortified by "the prophetic word," and chapter 21 of the god's kingdom rules!
book presented a large amount of new light or clarified understanding of the events of the great tribulation.. here i am presenting it in chronological order -- this is the governing body's updated chronological order of events for the time right before the great tribulation through armageddon:.
the final sealing of the anointed occurs just prior to the outbreak of the tribulation.

I just don't get it. Why when Jesus was on earth preached love. He preached to love one another and to even love our enemies. Supposedly the anointed are trained this way of love, to have compassion, etc....
And all of a sudden when they are in heaven things change. They will killed billions of people (including innocent children) cause they are not JWs. Are Jesus and the 144,000 really gonna do this? What in the word the GB thinks? Why do they consider themselves more righteous than even their own fellows JWs?

The flat earth conspiracy!
by Truthexplorer inok. let me first start by saying i am not a flat earther.
i like most on here will have the same view most will have here about our planet.
in saying that however, i am incredibly gob smacked by the book written by eric dubay called 'the flat earth conspiracy'.

I have been thinking on this. I don't believe the earth is flat as Eric Dubay says.
I recently have taken a class in college about astronomy. It is well proven without a doubt that earth is round.
You can prove it to yourself. Just look at the moon. Is it round? It it looks round to you, it doesn't matter what other people think, do you think that it is a round flat disk orbiting our planet? How does it goes into different phases? Now, think about this, is earth a flat disk floating into space? When the moon goes into different phases, except on full moon, what covers the moon? A flat earth disk?
I have been to Griffith Observatory many times, I live near there. I have seen different planets with telescopes that they have. None of the planets seems to be a flat planet orbiting the sun to me. Why would earth be different from those other planets?
Now, it's okay to me if those books make you think different. I'm not gonna shun you for that. The Watchtower society manages people to think different from the rest of Christianity using the Holy Book (even going beyond what it is crystal clear in there). Could it be the case that Mr. Dubay is trying also to cause controversy on well establish scientific evidence?
Just my two cents.

The JW religion has just cost me my marriage & my family life
by jambon1 inafter leaving the organisation 10 years ago i fought with everything i had to stay in my marriage and with my three children.
after a tumultuous number of years trying to maintain a happy family life while living in a divided home, it's finally over.
the religion is single handedly responsible for destroying my marriage and my family.

Your wife will be interview in a regional convention as an example for other wives. Loyalty to the Org=Putting God's kingdom first.
Many more families will be destroyed. Probably including mine... Very tragic consequences for waking up...

My son is not baptized yet. He has been just an unbaptized publisher for 5 years. Elders and other family members have questioned me why he is not baptized yet. I have told them that I'm not gonna push him, that is a personal decision that he has to make. I have explained to him what baptism is and specially the two questions that they ask before baptism. I have told him that question number two is a contract that he will be making with the Watchtower Society. I told him too that when I was baptized nobody told me I was signing that contract.
Regarding education, my wife and I agree that they need to go to college. I told her that I have wasted a lot of years cause Armageddon was just around the corner since 1992 when the old generation was supposed to pass in 1995. I wasted a lot of years pioneering for nothing. No college education, no career, not a least a certificate and broke living off from welfare. I told her that I don't want the same for our kids. And she agrees to it.

Thanks everyone!
You see, my wife is emotionally unbalanced. She takes medicine for anxiety. When she gets mad, she always tends to harm herself (like biting herself, pulling her hair, hitting herself). Once she tried to commit suicide. We have been to the doctor several times even with a psychologist. She is just under prescription drugs. I try not to worry her about anything. I mostly do all the shores around the house. I cook, I go grocery shopping. Of course, I take her with me the whole time. We spend a lot of time together.
On the car we usually talk about the meetings. I have tried it to think for herself. Like for instance, I asked her last tuesday: "did you notice something about the watchtower study?" She asked me: "what?" I said to her: "in paragraphs 12 by the end it says: " Such a clear and simple comparison has the hallmark of divine teaching". Then asked her: "if this is now the hallmark of divine teaching, who was teaching us before?". She asked me: "Do you have an issue with doctrine then?" I told her: "yes, cause one day they tell us one thing and another day another thing. If the org is truly guided by holy spirit, then the spirit must be playing with us. I don't know what to believe anymore". (I know that the GB is way to wrong in most of the teachings and all practices they do. I don't even read any magazine anymore cause I know it is just all BS, there is nothing honest in there).
Then she told me as usual: "wait on Jehovah, he has done many things for us. Let's just concentrate ourselves in the kids".
Knowing all of this, what other ways can I try to get her into thinking?

Thank you guys.
My wife tells me that we have to "help" him. That she has seen that he prefers friends outside the congregation, that those kids are bad association and that someday I will regret it if he leaves the truth. ( She doesn't know that that is my plan with the whole family).
I have tried to talk to my daughter too. Once I started a conversation using the movie Divergent, which she likes a lot. I asked her what she thinks about killing divergents. She told me that that is totally wrong. I asked her what she would think if that was going on in real life. She told me that she would stay away from those people. I asked her: "What would you do if you found out I was a divergent?" "Would you turn me in to the leaders to kill me?" She told me that she doesn't know. I asked her: "Faction before blood?" She said: "I don't know".
I asked her all those questions before my other kid. He told her: "you are stupid, how are you gonna turn in your own dad?". I had to stop him and told him: " be gentle with her, if she doesn't know, she doesn't know it. I will always love her no matter what". She just told me: " I love you dad, sorry".
I know as a fact my two kids love me. I'm always there to support them in anything they wanna do, as long as I know it won't cause them harm.
