Today I left my son for the first time go to one of his friends home to hang around with their friends. I'm sure they will have a good time as teenagers. Enjoy your evening too.

during the meeting with the elders and servants he passed out a copy of a hypothetical publisher card and asked us what we could learn from it.
upon receiving it i saw that the average hours were pretty good, it had return visits and quite a few bible studies.

I was a MS for 10 years and a Pioneer for 16 years. Everything on my card was good, RV, Mags, Books, Studies. I didn't qualified to be an elder cause I was a young anointed (38 y/o at that time). And I didn't qualified to be an elder until the Questions of Readers said that 1935 was no longer the date that the heaven's gate was closed. By that time I wasn't interested in being an elder anymore. -

"Friends" are gone
by BeautifulMind ini have (well had) an extremely small circle of jw friends.
lots of acquaintances and associates but 2 or 3 i would consider my true friends.
that list is now 0. yup, once i told them i no longer believe in the org and haven't for a long time, and their attempts to encourage me thru jw lingo and terminologies to "rely on jehovah" and not to "stray away" failed that was pretty much it.

Pledge for Global Assistance Arrangement - $15 per publisher!
by nmthinker inlast night our congregation read a letter for the global assistance arrangement combined with the traveling overseer assistance arrangement.
the "recommended" amount was $15 per publisher, which was well over $1000 for our hall.. it seemed steep.
our congregation does not have this type of money.
