Fewer christians (and other religions) and more with NO RELIGION in Australia
by fulltimestudent inthe results of the last australian census are trickling out, and the results offer an insight into the changing concepts of contemporary aussies.. in 1966 only 0.8 % marked 'no religion' on their census form.. in 2001 those marking 'no religion" had grown to 16%.. and in 2016 those marking 'no religion" had grown to 29.6%.. so more non-believers than any other group.
catholics (the previous largest group) were now only 22.5% of australians.. ________________________.
the other interesting change is language,.

Interesting - for some context:
I understand that in 2016 in the above Australian results, 9.6% did not answer the question / left it blank
The results for the England/Wales census was:
Between 2001 and 2011 there has been a decrease in people who identify as Christian (from 71.7 per cent to 59.3 per cent) and an increase in those reporting no religion (from 14.8 per cent to 25.1 per cent)... with 7.2 per cent not answering the question in 2011.
Therefore, six years after the last England/Wales census, it looks like figures for both match up?

Our limits are flexible and a bit elastic and when they do kick in they don't stop you posting, they just start to delay posts appearing - initially for short periods and longer, the more the limits are exceeded. If you have submitted a post and it doesn't immediately appear then if you wait, it will. It get's queued. The queue also helps to smooth out the system load so if a lot of people are posting at once then the queue may backup a little even though you haven't hit a posting limit (it also prevents anything being lost if I'm deploying a new version of the app / instances are restarting etc...)
But ...
If you don't wait then things go wrong. If you submit the same topic or post over and over in an attempt to make it appear then what actually happens is that you end up triggering the limits as well as posting duplicates and as a result the system delays your posts for increasingly longer periods. Even if I subsequently delete the duplicates, those still count towards your limits.
If you have posted something then please just be patient, there is no need to re-submit it and doing so will likely just delay it's appearance even further.
Sometimes things are weird -
I currently have a browser 'tab/window' open with a post I'm trying to post that has spent the last five minutes on the first 'Uploading Post' sequence.
BUT, actually, when I checked with an other browser tab/window open - the post has actually be submitted and has been made public - yet the original tab/window is still stuck on the 'uploading post'.

Simon has some good forum software running - generally, if you press 'submit' on a post - it'll get posted (and not 'lost'), just maybe not posted public straight away.....

Wow i do not reconize this religion anymore...
by _Morpheus inhad the misfortune of stopping by the "regional" convention yesterday.
i promised my daughter i would come to sunday afternoon so she wouldnt have to ride home with her mother.... holy crap it was weird!
im sure all of this has been covered on the forum but to actually see it.... just wow.

To credit "the City of White Plains" is specific - it credits the city, not the kingdom hall property.
Yes, they filmed on the public highway.
This would have needed to have been consented to.

A lot of films have location credits at the end - but most people don't stay in the movie house long enough to read all the credits.....

How many remember the 1969 8 day convention?

i was at the braves stadium in atlanta all 8 days with a sunburn and then wet clothes after the rain storms.
