More than 900 people have attended the funeral of a Westward Ho! tradesman described a "kind, gentle and intelligent man who was killed in a stabbing in Honiton.
A large crowd gathered at Bristol Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday, June 24, to say their good byes to a Philip Ryan, 55, man who "volunteered and helped out on so many different projects that he had friends and admirers all over".

had the misfortune of stopping by the "regional" convention yesterday.

i promised my daughter i would come to sunday afternoon so she wouldnt have to ride home with her mother.... holy crap it was weird!

im sure all of this has been covered on the forum but to actually see it.... just wow.

In terms of the OP's thread title - Wow i do not reconize this religion anymore - the WT's website, over the last 20 years, is an example of that very principle in action.

Twenty years ago the WT was very specific in the 1997 KM I quoted

The purpose of our Web site is not to release new publications

And today?

ALL new releases are released via the website first

Actually I don't think they're even producing physical DVDs anymore - so those are ONLY being released via website/app

i'm having a debate with someone on facebook who claims he came up with the term "borg" in reference to the wts back in the mid 2000s.

however i'm certain the term was used on h2o as early as 1999 as well as here when this site was first set up.. can anyone confirm that i'm not dreaming?

what's the earliest you remember seeing the term being used?.
