but what about the 106 people who have ALREADY signed this...

who will get the property of jehovah's witnesses?.
the sect "jehovah's witnesses", recognized as an extremist organization and banned in russia, owned real estate worth 4 billion rubles.
thanks for uploading.

so today the well-respected and serious newspaper trouw.nl came with child abuse within the jw as their topmost frontpage article.. the articles are well researched and aim primarily at the dutch jw situation.. afaik at least on member of this forum assisted the newspaper with the articles.
.
other media are picking up as well.....
Anders Anderson: So today the well-respected and serious newspaper Trouw came with child abuse within the JW as their topmost frontpage article.
Have you bought your copy yet?...
someone sent this link of kelso law firm and their blog post on cardinal pell being australia's most hated man.
the implications are very interesting, as this is the 3rd most powerful man in the vatican.
the catholic church is no doubt much larger than jehovah's witnesses, however, the jw's incidence of child sexual abuse is about 4 times higher than the catholic church's child sex abuse (and subsequent coverups).. the main thread tying cardinal pell and the other vatican scandals to jehovah's witnesses is the australian royal commission.
The problem appears to be a mixing up of the statistical data.
I'm just the messenger.... 1 + 1 does not equal 3, even if you want it to.
In the UK - there are actually MORE JW Elders than Catholic Priests.
i think these exist ?
has someone created pdf scans of original mailed or literature counter wts?
or have copies of those pdf's?.
Ray Frankz: Do you guys know why would they cut these out? Doesn't look like the articles talk about subjects they changed later.
The above articles are for space / layout reasons.
There are also other examples of Watchtower and Awake magazine articles being edited to cut them down, shorten them etc - which are 'red-tape' related.
this post is actually in answer to a question i got from jwfacts.
i think the issue was also raised on a recent thread.. first, some data from the 2011 and 2016 censuses:.
(a) 1,751,733 (7.5% of population) reported being in a de-facto couple on census night, but .
A relevant question is, "What percentage of divorced JWs were divorced BEFORE they became Witnesses?"
Also..... What about those that have remarried?
How are they counted?
28% of Australian marriages in 2015 involved at least one partner that was on their second (or more) marriage
28% is fairly significant statistical-wise - so I was wondering how is that accounted for in the OP stats?
I note that apparently Question 6 in the Australian 2016 Census only asked "What is the person’s present marital status?" - with the options being either: Never married / Widowed / Divorced / Separated but not divorced / Married
...the liverpool echo arena is the regional convention venue for the north west of the u.k (also holding manchester's r.c this year after the grande concert bombing).
or am i just being cynical at this coincidence?.
FAKE - DOUBLE FAKE
Actually it looks like the Liverpool Echo newspaper sent out TWO tweets regarding this story:

had the misfortune of stopping by the "regional" convention yesterday.
i promised my daughter i would come to sunday afternoon so she wouldnt have to ride home with her mother.... holy crap it was weird!
im sure all of this has been covered on the forum but to actually see it.... just wow.
_Morpheus:
haha - yeah, maybe - though TBH I thought it was probably someone not realising my ironic use of "Celebrating 20 Years: 1997 to 2017"
My post that included a line (in English) from a Jacques Brel song was also downvoted - but it was my reaction to a FLEMISH language song video being posted - hence the connection to the song Marieke - oh, and it's Friday today
on http://avoidjw.org/2017-regional-convention/ you can find the talk outlines of the regional convention this year.. i looked into the final talks each day and found these releases to be announced:.
on saturday:.
new magazine-size book entitled "lessons you can learn from the bible".
Cheers fella. That's what I was looking for.
Cool - the best thing to do, if you can, is to download stuff to your computer when they're first leaked - but I realise not everyone can do that - so it's good wifibandit et al do their best to keep stuff available

?.
Oh! of course - seeing the Flemish - it's SO OBVIOUS NOW!
Previously the JWs COULD NOT CLAP ALONG to the songs as they sung - because they could never remember the words haha and so had to hold / use their songbooks!!
NOW - they project the LYRICS are the big screen (or TV at the KHs) - thus now there is no need to hold a songbook and their hands are 'free' to clap-along - especially with some of the new songs and orchestrations!!
Oh Marieke, Marieke, I loved you so much Between the towers of Bruges and Ghent
